    When I first started reading this book, I thought it was going to be the same as another book I just finished. At first it was very similar, but as I kept reading it became unique in its own way. It’s a good read and kept me interested. I definitely recommend this book if it’s complete. I’m on ch230 of 232 and I haven’t seen any updates lately. I hope the author is just busy and hasn’t abandoned it.

    I didn’t finish it. I genuinely give books a good try, power through when I’m not being grasped by the story, but this one, I’m too annoyed by the main characters. For a good chunk of the story I was rooting for them but now, not so much. They can’t be riding the moral high ground and waving the “I’ve been wronged by people” flag when they themselves are making just as shitty of decisions as the ones that wronged them and hurting others.

    Leon said he couldn’t accept her as his mate and humiliated her but he never actually said the rejection nor did she. Although she said she accepted it she never formally said it either. She isn’t marked so she hasn’t felt the betrayal but if she ever was asked to explain maybe someone would notice that neither of them actually rejected and if she did then Adrian just might be her second chance mate.
