    While I’m not a huge fan of the “abused adopted wolf being found by her second-chance mate and becoming Luna of another pack” trope, I have enjoyed many stories, because they are engaging and written well. However, I draw the line when brutalization of the lead character is done by the one who is supposed to be their ultimate love. Enemies-to-lovers is interesting and fun, but there is nothing sexy about the physical abuse and psychological torment found here. The only way to salvage this is if she ends up killing the jerk and becoming queen and ultimate ruler.

    The premises was interesting, but I am so done with the word-vomit. Almost like the author wants to show how smart they think they are? The writer has lost me completely, waste of my time. I even started to skip 10 chapters at a time as it became more and more intolerable to read further. After this comment, I will stop altogether.

    The hyperbolize takes away from the story. It is the wrong storyline to showcase your extensive vocabulary.

    This book is not but words of confusion. A lot of big words saying nothing at all. on chapter 12 and I don’t know what is going on and if I read the word primal one more time, I’m going to lose it. It fills like the author quit and ghost writer filled in or this is an attempt to hit a certain word count. No direction at all.

    It started as a story and then it went third-party with lots of word, vomit, and no real plot to the book. I have never written a review, but I have to say after chapter 9 it is just word vomit.

    I made it to Chapter 18, but then I had to quit. I do not know what happened to the author, but the book becomes classical literature around Chapter 14 and unbearable to read. I might read it for homework, but certainly not for enjoyment.

    yeah it’s hard to keep reading when you can tell the author is trying to just fit in every single adjective that they know…the story stops making sense and turns into a thesaurus /:

    I like that it’s well written I like the wording used and I definitely like the story line and it’s nice to read an intelligently written novel for a change instead of feeling like a child wrote it which I often complain about in the comments .

    what is going on with all the huge, unusual vocabulary? I don’t want to think this hard when I read a book for enjoyment. my medical texts weren’t this hard. I want to finish the story, but I’m losing interest. I’m glad others feel the same.

    I have a Master’s degree and I’m reading this thesaurus word salad and thinking, “huh?”. The beginning started out fine but then it turned into a challenge of using every word from an actual thesaurus. What is going on and what did I just read? Who is the author writing for? If you want to entertain your spouse or your friends, read them a paragraph and see if they can decipher. My husband is still in hysterics. Author should rewrite the book like she wants her readers to understand the story.

    its getting to the point where im having to read some of these paragraphs two to three times just because its a bit confusing. i really want to give this book a chance because it was so good in the beginning.

    This book started out great 👍🏾 but then it turned into a third person story using words that dragged the story on to a point you’re not even sure of what’s happening. Almost as if there are two different writers. The story became uninteresting with no direction. UNABLE TO COMPLETE. Wished it ended like it started. 🙄🙄😡
