Introduction
My wolf can no longer bear it as she comes out, forcing me to forcefully transform. I watch in helplessness as she takes full control of my body and rushes at Penelope.
My wolf whimpers as she lands on the ground mid stride. She tries to go against the order but the effort is futile so she goes back in. I’m naked as I sob on the floor, my humiliation reaching its peak.

Chapter 1
Lexi.
“Hey darling,” A deep voice sounds next to my ear and I smile, feeling the rock hard body against my back and arms around my waist as goosebumps cover my skin. I turn to face Conri, pressing a chaste kiss on his lips as he smiles down at me.
“How are you feeling babe? Ready for your big moment?” He asks as he guides me through the crowd of people with a hand on my lower back, and we greet pack members.
“I’m a little nervous but also excited. I really can’t wait,” I chuckle. Today is the day I’ve been waiting all my life for. My father, Alpha Alaric, is going to announce me as his successor today. It’s the most perfect moment as it is also the pack’s annual ball.
From the corner of the eyes, I see my father walk up to the podium and I immediately take my place in front of the crowd, excitement thrumming in my veins. I look around trying to spot my mother and I see her standing next to my sister on the other side of the crowd.
I wave at them and my mum just ignores me, while my younger sister–Penelope–gives me the stink eye. I’m shocked but I figure I can deal with it later, so I turn my attention back to my father.
“Members of Dynamite pack, I welcome you all to the 40th annual ball of our great pack. We have gone through hardships and tough times and we have succeeded together because of our trust and loyalty…” My father pauses and looks around at the hollering crowd of people, moved by his words.
“As we all know–and I’m sure this is the moment we have all been waiting for–one of my daughters will be succeeding me today. An old man needs retirement, aye?” There are outbursts of laughter around me and I also laugh. My father really knew how to work a room.
“This daughter is diligent, brave and above all, she has the interests of our people at heart–which are the three most important characteristics I believe a true leader must have. Please allow me to welcome on stage–” My father pauses for effect and I tense, my nerves bursting in all directions. This is my moment.
I feel a hand wrap around mine and look up to see Conri fix me with a reassuring look. I smile gratefully, counting down the seconds before I go to the podium.
“–Penelope Adawolf.” He concludes and I freeze in shock. No no no, this cannot be happening. I slowly turn to look at my sister making her way up the podium, smiling like she’s prepared for this.
As she stands beside my father and they start the ritual to crown her his successor, she makes eye contact with me and smirks.
I look at my mum, expecting to see some kind of shock on my face but she beams wildly at the stage, giving Penelope a thumbs up as she mouths ‘I'm proud of you’ to her.
The sharp sting of betrayal cuts through my chest and I turn away from the stage, pushing my way to the exit and thankfully the people part for me, looking at me with pity in their eyes.
I grit my teeth when I get out as a scream bursts out of me. I feel cheated and my wolf does too as she howls in agony in my head. I fall on the ground in a corner where I won’t easily be seen, still wearing my expensive ball gown as I sob into my hands.
How could father give away the title of Alpha to Penelope? She doesn’t even know the responsibilities of being an Alpha. While I was busy training and enhancing my skills, she was busy frolicking with the pack boys and being negligent towards pack affairs.
I was always going into the village, helping my people that seemed to be suffering. I had amazing healing abilities and I was always willing to heal everyone. My people loved me.
The way I was familiar with the doctors and nurses when I healed patients was the same way I was familiar with our soldiers when I trained with them or taught the new recruits. So why will my father cheat me out of my birthright? Is this some punishment of some sort?
I stay there crying for a long time and when I finally stand up, I see Conri sitting not so far away with pity in his gaze.
“Hey, are you alright?” He gets up and moves closer to me. “I followed you out but decided to give you your space.”
My heart warms at the kind gesture and I step into his arms as he hugs me. I’m happy that I have him on my side, especially now that the whole world is against me.
“So what will you do now?” He asks me as he places a kiss on my forehead.
“I really don’t understand what happened, Conri but I’m sure my father will have an explanation for it. I’m going to confront him.” I’m going to get to the root of the matter.
“Do you need me to come with you?” He steps back as I smoothen my clothes and dust it.
“No. I need to do this on my own. Go enjoy the festivities. I’ll let you know how it goes, okay?” I give him one last kiss before I stumble my way home, my head swarming with a lot of questions.
I get home and meet my parents but Penelope is nowhere to be found and I assume she’s still at the pack hall, enjoying her party.
“Dad, I don’t understand what’s going on,” I say once I have their attention.
“And what exactly don’t you understand?” My dad directs at me, disdain in his voice.
I’m almost shocked into silence but I press on, knowing that I had to get an answer. “Did I do something wrong? How did the Alpha title pass me by?” I was almost in tears again.
“You’ve grown bold thinking the Alpha title is entitled to you. Look here girl, this has gone on long enough. You are not our daughter, just a girl we picked up from the gutter and brought up as our own but I see that your wings are grown already.” I rear back in shock, not wanting to believe it but the condescending look I get from my mother tells me all I need to know.
I start inching backwards as tears fill my eyes. “You don’t have Alpha blood and I will never let a dirty-blooded orphan like you sit on my throne.”
As my father drops the final statement, I run out of the house towards my mate’s house. My wolf is weak and shattered and I really need Conri’s comfort right now.
I get to his house and slip inside, pretty sure he’s there because I heard people talking. But as I inch closer, I realize what I heard was moaning. I open the bedroom door with a frantic heart and I see my worst nightmare in front of me.
A naked Conri is on his bed with a naked woman under him as they lose themselves in the throes of pleasure. I howl because this hurts my wolf even more than my parents’ betrayal and it feels like the pain I felt before has increased a thousand fold.

Not worth the time. Horrible story line!

While I’m not a huge fan of the “abused adopted wolf being found by her second-chance mate and becoming Luna of another pack” trope, I have enjoyed many stories, because they are engaging and written well. However, I draw the line when brutalization of the lead character is done by the one who is supposed to be their ultimate love. Enemies-to-lovers is interesting and fun, but there is nothing sexy about the physical abuse and psychological torment found here. The only way to salvage this is if she ends up killing the jerk and becoming queen and ultimate ruler.

The premises was interesting, but I am so done with the word-vomit. Almost like the author wants to show how smart they think they are? The writer has lost me completely, waste of my time. I even started to skip 10 chapters at a time as it became more and more intolerable to read further. After this comment, I will stop altogether.

The hyperbolize takes away from the story. It is the wrong storyline to showcase your extensive vocabulary.

This book is not but words of confusion. A lot of big words saying nothing at all. on chapter 12 and I don’t know what is going on and if I read the word primal one more time, I’m going to lose it. It fills like the author quit and ghost writer filled in or this is an attempt to hit a certain word count. No direction at all.

It started as a story and then it went third-party with lots of word, vomit, and no real plot to the book. I have never written a review, but I have to say after chapter 9 it is just word vomit.

I made it to Chapter 18, but then I had to quit. I do not know what happened to the author, but the book becomes classical literature around Chapter 14 and unbearable to read. I might read it for homework, but certainly not for enjoyment.

The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.

After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire's Arms
On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."
Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.

Alpha Nicholas is 28, mateless, and has no plans to change that. It's his turn to host the annual Blue Moon Ball this year and the last thing he expects is to find his mate. While he tries to refuse to acknowledge that he has met his mate his world is turned upside down after guards catch two she-wolves running through his lands.
Once they are brought to him he finds himself once again facing his mate and discovers that she's hiding secrets that will make him want to kill more than one person.

Crowned by Fate
“She’d just be a Breeder, you would be the Luna. Once she’s pregnant, I wouldn’t touch her again.” my mate Leon’s jaw tightened.
I laughed, a bitter, broken sound.
“You’re unbelievable. I’d rather accept your rejection than live like that.”
As a girl without a wolf, I left my mate and my pack behind.
Among humans, I survived by becoming a master of the temporary: drifting job to job… until I became the best bartender in a dusty Texas town.
That’s where Alpha Adrian found me.
No one could resist the charming Adrian, and I joined his mysterious pack hidden deep in the desert.
The Alpha King Tournament, held once every four years, had begun. Over fifty packs from across North America were competing.

The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
