This is one of the best romance piece I have read. The War God, Kieran, a man of very few words passionately loves Cassandra who was a slave. His acts alone showed how much he loves her and the book was so well written. The fact that Keiran's dragon, Krai also adored Cassandra was so beautiful. And it was heartwarming and touching when he asked her to be his wife as he can never love or want any other woman... really great piece!

This book is just plain brilliant! The Kairen character, of very little words, from his acts shows how deeply he loves Cassandra and decisively deals with anyone that has hurt or is hurting her summarily without even thinking about it. Thank kind of love is not just lip service but clearly shown and demonstrated. And I love the way Cassandra understands him, loves him back passionately and never takes advantage of his love for her. I just love the story.
