    I was grinning the whole time I read the interaction with the head accountant. Considering he has to find recruits and tally deaths, I'm surprised he didn't come around sooner but I'm glad he didn't fight it for the entire time of the bet. He knew he'd been bested and in the best way possible.

    i have read 1387 books this year(2021)alone and this Book was by far the best book i have EVER read. The characters feel so real and relatable. Their emotions are your emotions and their pain your pain. im not afraid to say i actually freaking cried at bit at the end. But Damn! Its a MUST READ.

    I believe that krai and kairen are extremely connected emotionally speaking, as if they are the same person which means that whatever affection krai is showing to Cassandra is indirectly kairen’s manifestation of affection that he can’t boldly show as a human being to Cassandra so he does it through krai! how romantic ❀️
