Rafaelle's POV

I collapsed onto the harsh cold ground beneath me. The concrete surface pressed painfully against the thin soles of my feet which had already suffered from many injuries and bruises. I felt a sense of urgency and desperation as I quickly reached into my pocket my heart racing as I searched for my phone.

This device was my only connection to the outside world my only way to ask for help or get in touch with someone who could offer me support. A heavy feeling of despair washed over me like a stone sinking into the water when I came to the devastating realization that my phone was missing. It must have been lost in the flurry and confusion of my recent escape.

I urgently needed to contact Hugo I couldn't stop thinking about Iris and how much I wanted to hear her name spoken aloud to reassure myself that she was safe and far away from any danger. But despite my frantic searching my phone which represented my last hope and connection was nowhere to be found.

The world around me felt like it was getting smaller and smaller pressing in on me like a strong force squeezing tightly. My imagination started to create the worst possible situation I could think of— a frightening image that seemed to be made up of fear uncertainty and a heavy feeling that something terrible was about to happen.

I made an effort to push these thoughts away and to get rid of the doubts that were trying to take over my mind. However, these doubts stayed with me like shadows that wouldn’t go away clinging to me and not fading into the darkness.

With my hands shaking slightly I carefully cleaned my wound and put a fresh bandage on it. The pain I felt was something I recognized all too well it wasn't something I wanted to feel but it was something I couldn't avoid. As I held onto my pistol tightly I could feel its weight in my hand and it was comforting in a way.

It reminded me of why I was here and filled me with determination and courage once again. I realized that it was time for me to take action and do something important.

I couldn't just stay in this place drowning in my feelings of sadness and regret about the past. I had to find Iris. I had to locate my daughter before the situation became hopeless.

As I quietly made my way through the night moving with the caution of an animal that was being chased I suddenly came across a car that was parked near a shopping mall. The car didn’t look like it belonged to anyone in particular and it seemed like an easy target just waiting for someone like me to take it.

I told myself that no one would notice if I took it and feeling a surge of excitement rushing through my body I climbed into the car. The moment my hands touched the steering wheel the engine roared to life sounding powerful and wild as if it were a beast that had just woken up after a long sleep.

I quickly drove away from the house leaving behind the painful memories of Maria and the heavy feelings of disappointment that had been weighing me down like a tight grip. I was determined to take back what I believed was rightfully mine.

My thoughts felt like a powerful storm much like a turbulent sea filled with constant anger and strong determination. Every muscle in my body was tight and tense filled with a sense of purpose that almost felt insane driving me forward with an energy that was almost too much for me to handle. Campani.

That name struck me like a harmful dart like a sharp thorn stuck deep in my heart. Each time I thought of him it brought me a sense of clarity helping me see things more clearly even amid all the chaos around me.

I was determined to find Iris. I was going to face Campani. I was set on making him pay dearly for the cruel things he had done and for all the pain he caused to the people I cared about.

I brought my car to a stop several blocks away from the large and impressive mansion belonging to Campani. The mansion’s dark shape stood out against the night sky looking very frightening and giving me a sense of foreboding. As I sat there the thick darkness seemed to close in around me wrapping me up in a heavy blanket filled with both anticipation and fear.

It felt like the shadows surrounding me were softly whispering the secrets that were deep inside my heart. In response to this overwhelming feeling, I could sense a rush of adrenaline pumping through my body.

This energy was raw and alive and I felt it tingling at my fingertips. I knew that it was finally time for me to take action.

Taking a big breath in I slowly opened the door of the car and stepped out into the chilly night air. As I did this I felt a mix of determination and nervousness blending inside me which made the experience more intense as I walked towards the large mansion.

I moved quietly and carefully almost like a hunter creeping up on its target. The quietness around me felt strange and unsettling wrapping around me like a heavy blanket and drowning out the normal sounds of the city.

Because of this stillness, the sound of my footsteps seemed much louder and it served as a constant reminder of the anxious feelings building up in my chest.

As I got closer to the large and impressive iron gates I couldn’t help but notice how enormous and heavy they appeared. They stood there like an overwhelming barrier a physical symbol of the obstacles that were keeping me from reaching my daughter.

I could barely hear some soft music coming from inside the gates and it felt very strange because it was such a stark contrast to the dark and quiet atmosphere outside. The sound echoed in my ears almost as if it didn’t belong…
