Sabrina's POV - Final Chapter

Whatever happened to the contract I signed with Kyle many years ago?

We laughed over it as he shredded it apart like it was nothing. If anyone would have told me that I would want to stay with this man at the end of the contract, I would've never agreed or believed it.

I used to hate him so fucking much, and now he was the centre of my world. Now we've decided we love each other, there's no stupid contract binding us.

Kyle wanted to be extra and organize a fresh marriage but I absolutely wasn't having it, I just wanted to rest. I still ended up getting a party as the pack surprised us and threw one for us, especially because of the celebration of my daughter's second birthday.

She was already walking and talking a bit.

The party was surely the talk of the town and it had barely even begun. The kids got ready as usual and rushed to the party ground to have fun.

I took special attention towards my daughter's outfit and making sure she was on her best behavior, so I was going to hold her the entire time, not letting anyone else carry her, but they could see and talk to her.

They had everything ready, all we had to do was be present. Kyle thought the party was the sweetest thing ever, but I admit, I was a little pissed. I just wanted to rest. At least this would be the last party for a while.

Everyone came, all the werewolves from various packs. Kayden and Rachael made it too. We all exchanged pleasantries and they congratulated and said hi to my daughter.

Kyle literally ditched me and our daughter and followed Kayden somewhere so they could talk man to man with some other men. I had no idea what they were talking about, but it was probably pack matters. Not like I cared anyway. Okay, I kind of do. A lot. These days I am incredibly clingy.

Rachael was glowing even more and when I saw her clearly, I gasped. She was pregnant. I could tell it. She was glowing with that pregnancy glow.

When she turned around and saw me, she rushed to me instantly, her face all smiles. She was wearing a black sparkle dress and had her hair in a loose bun, looking younger than her age.

“Congratulations.” The word slipped out of my mouth before I even knew it. I just couldn't help it. Her eyes widened in shock as she panicked, then in a low voice, she asked me how I knew she was pregnant.

“How do you know that?”

“It's obvious. I'm sure Kayden is very happy!” I squealed but she didn't exactly seem excited. She rubbed her hands together awkwardly like she was nervous and bothered.

“I've not told him yet. No one else knows.” Wait, she didn't want to be pregnant or? What exactly was going on? I tried my best to pretend to ignore it since it didn't seem like she was interested in sharing whatever the problem was.

“Oh, well I'm sure he would be ecstatic.” I offered her a weak smile. Finally she told me what the issue was.

“I'm kind of nervous, he did say he didn't really want kids. I guess I'll tell him here, since you already know. I'll reach out to you about his response before we have to leave. Wish me luck!” I couldn't help but smile.

“Goodluck!” Before she left, she smiled at Katie in my arms and wished her a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday pretty Katie!”

She chirped away, and just then Kyle walked in and joined me from wherever he had been with the guys.

“What was that interaction?” Kyle loved it when I told him everything, when we shared details of our day to the other.

“What? You don't see me ask you about your interaction with the guys, do you?”

“It's because we are boring. I don't want to bore you with it, but you women are always interesting. What's up with her? Ever since that day I've been shit scared of her. I don't know if I appreciate her around my wife.”

“Calm down okay? We are good. It definitely isn't my tale to tell, but she's pregnant. She's scared Kayden wouldn't want it…”

I watched Kyle's face go from uninterested to pure shock, like the full, complete expression was written all over his face.

“What? Why do you look like that?” I asked, alarmed.

“Are you kidding? He has been trying to get her pregnant for months. It's part of what we even talked about because he kept asking me how I got you pregnant. He's so shameless.”

Not Kyle referring to someone else as shameless.

“Oh my Gosh! I can't wait to see her happy face when she finally tells him.” I then decided to hand over his daughter to him.

“I'm tired of carrying her, take her, let me go find Theresa. After the cutting of the cake and pictures, I'm so ditching everyone, and I'm taking you with me.”

I said as I handed her over to her father. She's been good all day, no crying, diaper change, no disturbance. One would think she was naturally a peach.

“Nope, I'm good here.” Kyle said and I glared at him, pissed off. What did he mean by that?

“I'll fight you if you don't come with me.” I said softly, but he knew I wasn't kidding. Somehow I had better control of my powers and whenever I felt like I would set his hand on fire for a split second. It was fun and he was scared of me.

“Okay, okay, I will. Are you in pain though?”

“For now? No, I'm fine.” I replied, shaking my head and leaving. Theresa was with the kids so I instructed her to follow me in.

“Please wait here, let's cut the cake and take the photos.”

I personally had to start gathering everyone for them. Kyle handed Katie back to me and she was so sweet, she stayed put and cut her cake. After that we took a million pictures and the gifts poured in for my little girl.

I guess there was no need for Racheal to tell me his reaction since Kayden was so dramatic that he just had to make a scene. He picked her up and spun her around, really happy. Kayden used to creep me out so seeing him smile was insane. People that knew the couple before now couldn't believe how they went from pitiful and cruel to powerful in a pure light. It was amazing.

We all cheered them on on their pregnancy and after Rachael gave me a hug.

“Thank you for being a really sweet friend. My husband and I appreciate it. We'll be leaving now.” I nodded with a smile.

“Safe travels.”

After the successful party, when everyone was finally starting to leave, I sent Theresa and the kids home, Katie too. After the party was over, I took Kyle to show him a surprise set up I hastily did all the while we were at the party. It was at a gazebo by the bushes, close to the place we fucked in his car that year.

“Why are we here? Where are you taking me too? These days you're scary to me.” He didn't even trust me, well I didn't blame him. I had become such a thorn in his flesh.

“I'm not going to hurt you or anything so quit whining!” I had his eyes covered with a blindfold as I guided him. When we reached, I removed it and watched his reaction to the lights, food and everything else.

“No way. You did this?” He looked at the setting like he couldn't believe his eyes. I wondered, was it the first time he had ever received something like this?

“I've never really done anything for you as long as I've known you. All you've done is solve my problems. I feel spoiled, so I decided to spoil you too.” I said shyly and truthfully.

He grabbed me and hugged me tightly.

“I really appreciate it, it's the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. You see, I'm nobody, no parents, nothing. I fought tooth and nail and rose to the top to be alpha. And somehow, I got so deserving to marry you. You're all I need, but you still gave me three beautiful children. I fucking love your ass, Sabrina Hunter.”

“I love you too, Kyle Hunter.”

We shared a kiss and after our meal, you can already bet what went down. I lost my bra!
