Chapter 13 Discussion On Wedding, All Are Acting

In the car on the way back to the Balstone family.

Lucia said to Reagan very seriously, "Mom, you don't have to accommodate Grandma if she is too mean, and to uncle Orlando and his family too, you don't have to tolerate their nonsense."

Reagan smiled helplessly. "Your father wanted to avoid trouble and not to cause family conflict. Logically speaking, uncle Orlando as the eldest son, should inherit the business of the Balstone family, but your grandfather gave everything to your father. Understandably, your uncle and his family are not satisfied."

"But this is not an excuse for uncle Orlando's family to bully us. Mom, there is a wrong logic in our family. We all thought the eldest son had to manage the family business. If the second son takes care of the business is considered disrespectful to the eldest son! But we should consider it the other way round, why does the second son bear the burden to take care of the business of the Balstone family, not the eldest son?

Reagan was stunned by her daughter's opinion. She had never thought about it.

"That's because the eldest son can not bear the heavy burden of the family. That's why Grandpa selects my father as his successor. We should be confident, not guilty. We supported the business of the Balstone family. The members of the Balstone family, including uncle Orlando, should appreciate our effort. It's not that we have to endure their sarcasm and oppression."

At that moment, Reagan was apparently convinced by her daughter.

She was provoking Leilani on purpose. She was sure that her actions made her annoyed.

To be exact, she was provoking Melody. Her ultimate goal was Melody.

Leilani was always jealous of her. Her limitless glory had kept Leilani under wraps. After all, Leilani always felt she should be the precious young lady as she was the eldest daughter of the Balstone family. She couldn't stand Lucia having more and better lives than her.

Once Leilani was jealous, she would do something irrational. However, Leilani wasn't as intelligent as Melody. Melody was a scheming b*tch and would surely give Leilani some advice to please her.

Of course, Melody wasn't doing this for Leilani. She planned for her interest.

All she had done only to take Leilani's place in the Balstone family.

Lucia smiled coldly. They both would suffer eventually.

Fortunately, she knew the nature of everyone after rebirth. It was a great advantage to her, so she could use these people's sinister and cunning to achieve her goal!

Kelvin was a cautious person. It was not easy to get the goods on him before they got married. He would not be so bold as to mess around before married. When Lucia and Reagan returned to the Balstone family's villa, to their surprise, Kylian was back home at this hour.

"We went to Grandma's house," Lucia replied.

Kylian didn't understand why Reagan was so confident dealing with his mother.
