Chapter 9 Take her home

To assuage the Lus Family, Mrs. Gu deliberately gave Valen Gu's sister's room to her. But there was no time to arrange it, so the decoration in the room did not change much.

However, the personalities of these two ladies of the Gus family were completely different. From the decoration in this room, they could know that it wasn't Valen Gu's room.

The secretary was experienced and knowledgeable, so he could see the problem at a glance.

With a smile, he looked at the girl sitting at the bedside respectfully.

"Little Mrs. Lu, I'm here to invite you home."

He said.

Valen Gu sat still.

She looked at the housekeeper pleadingly, hoping that he could say a good word for her.

However, she was disappointed that the housekeeper didn't say anything at all .

The housekeeper said, "Miss, please go back with the secretary. The car is waiting outside. Don't let your husband wait too long at home."

Valen Gu was so desperate!

She slowly stood up from the bedside and pleadingly looked at the secretary. She hesitated and said, "Can I go back tomorrow?"

The secretary kept smiling.

He said, "Little Mrs Lu, I was also ordered to do this. Sir has been waiting for you for a long time. You see..."

Valen Gu knew there was no hope.

She drooped her head and walked out step by step.

In the yard, the black car was parked at the door, and the driver was waiting by. When he saw Valen Gu, he quickly opened the back door for her.

Before getting in the car, Valen Gu suddenly stopped.

Valen Gu turned around and looked at the mansion she had lived in for more than ten years with a complicated expression in her eyes. Finally, she got into the car.

The driver closed the door.

The secretary exchanged a few words with the housekeeper before he got into the passenger seat. And then they left.

There was a traffic jam on the road. Valen Gu leaned against the car chair and felt very low-spirited.

The secretary made a few phone calls, and finally looked back at the little girl in the back seat. Especially when he saw her lost look, he felt a little bit sorry.

He asked, "Little Mrs. Lu, do you usually faint?"

The secretary replied, "I'll send you home first."

Valen Gu frowned.

She hesitated for a few seconds and then said, "Well, is brother-in-law at home?"

The secretary paused and answered, "Sir is still at the company."

Valen Gu bit her lip. "I want to see him..."

The secretary thought for a moment and then said, "Ok. but you have to call sir first. If he agrees to let you go, we will send you there."

Valen Gu nodded. "Okay!"

She decided that she must talk to Scales Lu.

After the secretary dialed the phone, he handed the phone to the girl.

Valen Gu took it.

She took a deep breath and put the phone next to her ear.

"Hey..."

She opened her mouth.

However, there was no sound on the phone.

She was quite surprised. She looked at the screen again and confirmed that it was still on the phone. Then she continued, "Well, I'm looking for brother-in-law. Can you."

"Say what you want."

Suddenly, a cold male voice came from the phone and interrupted her.
