Chapter 20 It Would Only Be Fair If We Make Love Again
I stared at Nathan, exasperated. I didn't deliberately eavesdrop his conversation. What was he trying to do? How dare he scared me?
"I want you!"
I stared at him with displease, but he didn't seem to be mad. In fact, there was an ambiguous smile on his face. He was already very attractive to begin with and now he even smiled. I was totally captivated.
Mind you I was not a pervert, but he was really attractive. On top of that, I was fascinated by his aristocratic qualities.
I was addicted to his charm until his burly hands touched my chest. Suddenly, I woke up from my daydream and stared at him furiously.
"You are crazy! Let me go or I will shout!"
Staring at him angrily, his actions enraged me. I was a relatively conservative woman so his behavior annoyed me to no end.
"We've made love and now you're pretending to be reserved? Irene Fletcher, what's on your mind?"
Nathan was a little annoyed when he saw me resisting furiously. He stared at me with anger in his eyes.
He must have had countless women around him, wanting to sleep with him. But I was different, and I wasn't interested in him. That night was just a mistake because I was drunk.
"Nothing! Nathan, let go of me! I'm leaving!"
I stared at Nathan and stopped resisting. I wondered. We were at the moat now. He wouldn't have the guts to try anything funny here.
"Let me send you home."
He threw those words and dragged me to his car, even though I was resisting strongly.
I panicked and instinctively wanted to escape. I wouldn't be able to escape once I got into his car so I tried to break free forcefully.
"What do you want, Nathan? Whatever happened that night was my mistake. I was drunk and it was my mistake to have sex with you. I'm sorry. Won't my apology suffice? It was my virginity after all and you were not wronged. Just leave me alone, OK?"
Since that eventful night, I had started to meet Nathan more and more frequently. Sometimes I wondered if he had all this planned.
"Are you saying that you only had sex with me because it was a mistake?"
Once he heard me, his attractive face turned glum, obviously displeased with my words. No man would be glad to hear that.
"Irene, your apology is useless. If you really want me to leave you alone, then show your sincerity with your actions."
"Show what?"
I looked at him suspiciously, his words piqued me. If I could fulfil whatever he wanted, then we would be through.
"It was your mistake since you were drunk that night. It's only fair we make love again!"
Nathan approached me with a charming smile. I had to admit, he was gorgeous but at that moment, I panicked when he stood so close to me.
"Are you... are you kidding me?"
Recalling what Nathan had just said, my smile froze. He wanted to get it on with me again?
"Do you think that I am joking? Irene, you just said that night was your fault. So it's only fair if we make love again!"
