Chapter 9 Her Looks

Upon hearing that, Frederick gently tapped his fingers on the desk, a low and deep sound was produced, and his handsome face exuded a cold aura.

"So, you didn't find out her name and looks?"

"Well, I have already look into it carefully, but I still need some more time." Overwhelmed by his aura, Glenn replied in a trembling voice and broke out in cold sweat.

"Did the Erickson family send me an invitation?" Frederick then asked in a deep voice.

Quickly, Glenn answered respectfully, "Yes, Twilightbit Group had already sent an invitation three days ago."

"If that's the case, let's go and take a look at the exhibition." As Frederick stood up, his tall figure immediately towered over Glenn. Hurriedly, Glenn opened the office door and left after him.

"Mommy, my stomach hurts. I want to go to the toilet."

Not long after entering the exhibition hall, Boyo suddenly covered his stomach and uttered, his expression somewhat painful.

In an instant, Alice looked concerned. Standing up, she said, "Alright, I'll go with you."

However, Boyo waved his hand and replied, "I can find the toilet by myself. Tommy would get upset if he didn't see you later. Don't worry, the toilet is right beside the hall, and I'm also wearing my watch!"

With that, he ran toward the toilet without looking back, and he somehow looked funny.

Watching him, Alice sighed softly, but she was not worried. After all, Boyo was smart and quick-witted. Besides, everyone here was all from prominent families. So, no one would do anything bad to a child.

"Aw, look at this stunning wedding dress. When it's our wedding, I want the designer of this dress to customize a wedding dress for me. What do you think?"

"Sure, I'll give you anything you want."

"Aw, you're so nice to me."

As the coquettish voice reached Alice's ears, she was startled, and the wine glass in her hand shook a little too. Even if she didn't turn back, she could still remember the voice.

It was Celeste.

And, the other one was Richard.

Alice had never expected that she would run into them under such circumstances after returning to Theosia.

Back then, Celeste had schemed her into losing her virginity, her marriage, and she even forced Phoebe to death in the end.

Alice would never forget those hatreds for the rest of her life.

She once swore that she would make Celeste pay the price, and she would make the entire Maynard family apologize to her mother.

In fact, Richard had already fixed his eyes on the beautiful figure sitting in the corner from the moment he entered the exhibition hall. Although he could only catch a glimpse of her back, he could imagine how pretty her back was just by looking at her fair skin and the red gown. As her hair draped over her shoulders, she exuded a mysterious aura.

If he were to see her from the front...

"Richard, what are you looking at?"

At once, Celeste asked sensitively. Watching Richard staring at the woman, who was wearing a red gown in the corner, she pinched him immediately, showing dissatisfaction in her eyes.

Celeste pinched Richard so hard that he almost screamed out. Frowning, he shook off her hand subconsciously.

"What are you doing!" he uttered in rage. After finishing his words, Richard glanced at the person next to him, as if he was afraid that his voice would draw others' attention.
