Chapter 6 A Disdained Young Lady

At the mere thought of the past, Alice couldn't help but feel hatred.

No matter who that man was, Boyo belonged to her alone, and she would never find him!

"Come on, let's go and visit Grandma."

Holding Boyo's hand, Alice got into a taxi and headed to the cemetery.

That year, she spent all her savings buying the grave plot for Phoebe so that she could finally rest in peace.

After paying respects to her mother with Boyo, Alice took him to the apartment she had rented in advance.

"Mommy, are we going to live here from now on?"

Looking at the small apartment, he asked, frowning.

"What's wrong? Do you think that it's too small?" She raised her eyebrows and carried their luggage in.

Shaking his head, Boyo replied in a solemn tone, "I'm just upset that you have to live in such a small house. In the future, I will definitely buy you a big, big house and hire a lot of servants so that you can live like a princess."

Upon hearing his words, Alice became so moved that she almost teared up. Then, she held him in her arms and rubbed his face. "That's my good boy!"

"Mommy, you're smearing your makeup onto my face."

Although Boyo said disdainfully, he didn't push Alice away.

"How could you laugh at me when I just complimented you? Also, I even didn't do any makeup today, so how can I smear it onto your face?"

"Mommy, you misunderstood me. I'm just complimenting you that you have such fair skin." He was so quick-witted that Alice didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Boyo was extremely talented at languages, and he was also emotionally intelligent.

"I've already found a kindergarten. You can go to school once I completed the school admission procedure tomorrow."

Alice said while arranging his clothes.

Sitting on the sofa with a tablet in his arms, Boyo replied in a gloomy tone, "Okay."

With that, Alice noticed that he was sulky. And so, she stopped arranging the clothes and sat beside him. After that, she asked gently, "Do you not want to go to the kindergarten?"

Boyo shook his head and answered, "Kindergarten is too boring."

"How is it boring? You can get to know a lot of friends there, just like how you did when we're abroad."

"Alright then!" he responded in a low voice. Although he didn't say anything more, he was still feeling displeased.

All those kids in kindergarten only knew to cry all day long. What's more, those teachers would only coax them to play games. There was no fun living like this.

However, he shouldn't make Alice angry. If she got mad, he would feel upset too.

The next morning, Alice woke Boyo up early because she knew that it would take half an hour for him to pick his own outfits.

In the past, he disliked the clothes she bought for him as he thought that they weren't fashionable enough.

As a designer, Alice felt hurt by his remarks.
