The Unexplained
I wake up drenched in sweat, I must have had a bad dream bacause all’s I remember is screaming mom then I wake up. I didn’t realize how long I had slept until I look outside and see that the sun will be setting soon. Frustrated I change quickly and rush downstairs hoping there still waiting and surely they are. “I’m sorry I hadn’t realized that I was so tired until I was already out cold. I hope I haven’t kept anyone long,” I explained. My mother Beatrix smiles as she explains your ok my precious. I was thinking we could do dinner and if your ready we can try the first trial ritual to get your memories back it will take time. But we have nothing but time.” Its still hard trying to keep up with everything there saying but I just agree because I want to have everything go back to the way it used to. So I nodded in response. “Oh that’s wonderful love why don’t you go ahead and explore if you would like we got a big dinner to prepare,” she says thrilled. “Ok just let me know if you need any help I don’t mind helping,” I nodded to my mom. As I walk outside I could feel everyone’s eyes on me it made me nervous it looks like everyone knows who I am. I decide to get away from the prying eyes and walk the tree line. It is so peaceful here I can hear the birds chirping but I can’t seem to see any hmm that’s strange. “Hey you how you feeling about everything,” Starks says. I jumped so fast he had scared me. “You scared me ha ha and I’m at peace here its beautiful and relaxing here thank gosh no city I hated the city.” I look up at him and really taking a look at him, he was absolutely handsome his jaw line was sharp and ridged the stubble from his facial hair I could almost see every imperfection. I shake my head realizing I was gawking and not listening. I turned bright red from embarrassment Its like my vison went back to normal. “You ok,” he studied me with worry lines on his forehead. I let out a sigh and say, “is it that obvious, it’s just that my vison and my hearing keep messing with me it makes me feel like I’m going crazy. I can’t explain it.” He hesitates but he goes on the say, "you need to talk to your parents i"m not the one that should be answering anything I'd like to but I don't want to freak you out or scare you." I was confused by that but I still said, "I need to know what's going on with me what's wrong with me. Please tell me I won't be scared trust me I can handle a lot I've been through more than I'd like to admit. So try me." "Well let's just say this you said that your having hearing a vision problems that's true your brain and your body is trying to respond to what nature gave you but since you left you forgotten what you are. Open your senses to the world feel the earth benieth your feet. Close your eyes and just breathe, he explains while I close my eyes. I do as he says still nothing then out of no where as I was really focusing my heart started beating faster I could hear people talking far away the feeling was amazing the spells I could smell the feast my parents were making for dinner. The yams, green beans and garlic the honey glazed ham. And oh my gosh my favorite thing ever cheesecake for dessert. I jump out of it and I couldn't stop smiling how did I just do that that was amazing. I look over at Stark and he was smiling then all of a sudden I could hear his heart it was beating like crazy not the steady normal it should be. "How could I do that what am I I mean I've always thought I wasn't normal since I was little but every time something like this happens I freak and shake it off so it stops," I explained. "You need to talk to your parents I don't know if they will forgive me for being the one to tell you," he shakes his head saying. We sit in silence for a while and keep walking when he's like, "Ok I'll tell you your a werwolf. A full blooded werwolf!!" I didn't expect him to say that not at all but with the things I've seen since I can remember this doesn't seem any more crazy than I thought. "For real I knew it omg I knew I was something not just normal and I'm ok with that so does that mean that everyone here is one." He smiles and nods "yes we are we're all a pack here and your our lost princess. You have been missing for years and now your home. I've wondered if I would ever see you again I never gave up on finding you no one did. Thank you for giving us this chance to fix our families and become friends again. I feel honored that you are comfortable and feel safe around me even though you don't remember me. We won't disappoint you just wait and see when you get your memories back who we were to each other." He says as he walks off.
