Mystic
As I lay there not opening my eye’s I feel the sun hitting my skin from the window and it felt amazing like silk in the sheets. I signed then I stretched climbed out of bed and go about my morning. Todays going to be a good day I just feel it. I walk outside with my cup of coffee and sit looking at the beautiful view, the trees were huge with colorful leaves I can smell the fresh air its unlike city air its not smelling like pollution. You can see the pollen flying everywhere. I decide to put on my jeans and a crop top for the day and my lucky jacket. As I head out, I hear a wolf howling then right after multiple more responses. I didn’t realize Lisbon had wolves. I mean I guess makes sense because were so close to the woods and mountains. I gelt drawn to them I turn around and right in front of me there in the hotel lot there was a wolf looking at me and trying to decide if he wants to eat me or leave. I’ve never been this close to one before he was scary and so fierce looking with piercing green eyes. Most people would be scared or run but I was curious. I don’t know what I was thinking my body did it all by its self, I reached my hand to the animal. Thinking it wouldn’t come to me I was definitely wrong the wolf did he didn’t hesitate. He rubbed his head in my hand like a dog would he was beautiful. “Hey there handsome where did you come from you lost? Its ok so am I I’m here looking for my real family. Where’s yours?” I asked knowing he wouldn’t respond he howls and nods his head in the direction to the other howls. “You can understand me that’s amazing. Well, I have to go now thank you for not eating me,” I said giggling. Still amazed by the naturalness of what just happened I walked into town which wasn’t but 10 minutes seeing everything here during the day was even better. The best part so far was the bell tower right in front of me. The bell chimes just as I stop in front of it signaling that its past 11 o’clock. I start asking around and showing the two pictures of my supposed parents hoping someone could help when as I’m looking down, I run smack into someone big. “Oh my goodness it’s ugh um you I’m sorry again ha ha apparently, I’m a mess today already and it’s just starting. Oh now I’m rambling now.” I explained. He laughs and is smiling when he says “your ok no worries at all we all have our good and bad days. You look lost though can I help you find whatever it is your looking for,” He smiles. “Actually, yes maybe you can I came here to hopefully find answers about my birth parents there from her. Do you recognize who they are this is all I got to go on not even names just this picture and the town,” I sign hoping someone does. When I showed him the picture his reaction wasn’t what I was expecting at all. I thought maybe it was another fail but no something caught his eye. “These are your birth parent’s.” he says in shock. “Yes they are why do you know them or have you seen them,” I urged him to go on.
After what felt like forever him looking at the picture than me I was feeling nervous. Then he looks at me and says, “We’ve been looking for you for years. And your finally in here,” he looked like he was in shock. I was completely shocked this time I was confused but for some reason my heart was saying see where this goes he is probably telling the truth. My gut as well never fails me I don’t know how but I can just tell that he isn’t lying and for a second, I swear I could hear his heart beat which would be crazy ugh focus sapphire. “Your serious please I need to know everything that’s why I’m here I need answers there’s things that I can’t explain that I’m hoping there alive… unless there not,” I say as I start tearing up. I didn’t even realize that I was this emotional about this till it hit me hard there’s a chance that I came here and that I can find out there dead I never thought this through the way I should have but I’m always jumping before thinking. He rushes on “NOO its ok don’t cry good news is no ones dead there alive, your parents. Although we all thought you…” he trails off. “I should let them tell you that’s not my place. I just I haven’t see you since we were 10 years old.” He smiles. “wait you know me? You’ve known me since I was a kid,” I rushed out “I don’t remember anything from a child.” I realize I never told this man my name. “I’m Sapphire Stone I just turned 21 yesterday. What’s your name?” “My names Stark Knight please allow me to show you where to go because no one around here knows them we all live away from the village and only come to town if need be.” He explains. “Ok yes I’d like that thank you its nice to meet you again hehe I giggled.” He smiles, “My pleasure.”
