Lucifer
After the stunt pulled by Damien, Mia is pissed. She is not understanding what his problem is. She decided that she should make him understand that he misunderstood her. She decided to meet him in person and explain things clearly. He cannot force her to actually deceive Nelson. The man she is about to marry in a few weeks. And what's more, he is Damien's brother.
With that in mind, she dialed his number again. Its almost dark and it took her more than a few hours to sort out the mess inside the finance department. No matter how much she tried, there is nothing she could do to hide the embellishments of Patrick. If the anti corruption bureau officials are called again, they will be doomed.
"Nem, you seems to forget that I am your boss and you are not supposed to call me whenever you want" his deep and irritated voice filtered through the speaker.
She took a deep breath.
"Can I talk to you, in person?" she requested. She bit her tongue and tried to keep her anger to herself. Damien is powerful and she cannot win over him. The only thing she could do now is to reason with him and remove this misunderstanding.
"So eager to enter my bed again, Nem?" he taunted her.
She clenched her teeth and tightened her fists.
"Brother-in-law, I am your brother's fiance. Please remember that" she replied evenly.
A dark chuckle rang from the other end.
"You seems to forget that when you rolled in my bed a couple of weeks ago" he taunted her.
Mia wanted to slap that infuriating man. For the life of her, she doesn't remember how she ended up in his bed that night. But before she could respond, he started speaking again.
"A car is waiting for you downstairs" with that said, he disconnected the call.
After the call went dead, Mia glared at the blank screen with anger.
"No wonder Nelson never speaks about this man. He is devils reincarnation. He is the Lucifer from hell" she muttered to herself angrily.
She is so angry, that she wanted to ignore the car and not see the man again. But today's episode made her realize what Damien is capable of. If she doesn't clear the misunderstanding soon, she is scared to even think about what that man would do. So reluctantly she marched outside the Watson group and found the familiar car waiting outside. This is the same car in which she was dropped back home this morning.
She opened the back door and sat inside. To her surprise, she found Damien Inside. For a moment her breath caught inside her throat. Up close, he is so handsome. His features are sharp as if set in stone. But his eyes, they are the Grey shade which is uniquely different yet scary.
"If you are done staring, What do you wanted to talk to me about?" he demanded coldly.
Mia was so preoccupied that she didn't notice when the car started moving.
She looked away from him feeling embarrassed.
"Mr. Bishop, what happened that night was a misunderstanding...." he didn't let her finish. Because the next second, she found herself pinned to the seat with him looming over her. He is glaring daggers at her.
"Don't you dare lie to my face again" he sneered.
Mia is stunned. His hand is wrapped around her neck in a choke hold. She tried to push him away, but he is stronger and she couldn't even move him a inch.
"No.." she gasped for breath as he is cutting off her air supply.
"Do you expect me to believe your lies? You walked inside my room on your own. Now be a good girl and finish what you started. Don't make me repeat myself again. I wonder what is it about Nelson which made you so loyal to him. You didn't hesitate to give up your virginity to some random man for him" he snapped at her before letting go of her neck. He looked disgusted even to look at her.
Even after he let go, she couldn't sit up on the seat. She is stunned. She was never manhandled before like this. But what's even more bizarre is the fact that, she is wet.
'What the hell is wrong with me?' she thought feeling ashamed and horrified.
Immediately she scrambled up and sat up on the seat, moving as far away from the man as possible.
He was sitting there camly as if nothing happened.
"There is a red file with the words Bishops written on the top. I want you to bring that file. Its with Nelson. I will give you a week to finish the task. If you fail to finish the work, then on the 8th day, the Watson group will go bankrupt" he threatened her.
The car suddenly stopped moving.
"Get out" he snapped at her.
Mia immediately scrambled out of the car. The car sped up leaving her alone on the sidewalk.
