Chapter Seven
EDWINA'S POV
I paced up and about in my room, worried and angry, this had never happened before, Lucian sending her out during sex, more like almost throwing her out. I rubbed my chin, as I thought, “had he found another person he beds, or was it my sister. It couldn't be Lana. She wouldn't dare try to curry favor with Lucian.
I decided to visit Lucian's room, and I was going to try again. Maybe he was just having a bad day or something, or he was angry about something. I left my room and ventured to Lucian's room.
I got to his floor, and I was told he wasn't available, he had gone to the pack village. I decided to go and come back when he returned. I was walking away when I saw one of the maids taking some clothes to one of the rooms on the floor. “Who was on this floor I asked myself?” I decided to ask the maid, and the maid told me that it was the Alpha's new breeder.
Lucian got a new breeder, that's why he acted the way he did. I couldn't let it happen, I couldn't let anyone take my place, not even a common breeder. I asked the maid why she was on the Alpha's floor, and the maid replied, “the Alpha instructed us to keep her there”. I hissed loudly and ordered the maids to take her downstairs to the maid quarters. The maid tried to refuse, tried to interject. I hit her so hard on her face, and she ran to do my bidding.
Few hours later, another maid came to tell me that the breeder had been settled in a room in the maid quarters. I told her to leave, that I would attend to that in a moment. I had to do something to make this breeder run away and never come back. I had to make her suffer.
I took a big bunch of my laundry and went to the maids quarters. I had thought of a way to handle the breeder, I was going to make her slave away for me until she got tired and frustrated and ran away.
I got to the maid quarters and went into the room she was in, I found out that my sister Lana was inside. She was wiping the eyes of the breeder, I was livid, I clutched the clothes so hard, my nails started touching my palm. I barged into the room and said, “Lana do you think it's a good idea to be frolicking with the breeder who's going to take your place soon?” Lana looked at me with her usual soft expression and bright smile, it was annoying, how easily she smiled, and how she trusted people easily. She smiled and said, “don't you think you're being a bit paranoid Edwina, she's just like us, we are breeders too. All trying to give the Alpha an heir, so why should we discriminate against her”.
Lana was really an idiot. We were all breeders, I wasn't just a breeder, I was the future Luna of this pack. I stared at her, hatred in my eyes and said, “you really are foolish Lana.” I threw the clothes at the breeder and said, “you, breeder, do this laundry with your hands and it must be neat, no stain. Be careful with them, they're designers, don't mess them up”.
I smiled to myself as I walked out, the clothes I gave her were clothes that shouldn't be washed with hands, they were delicate clothes that needed special laundry services. I got to my room and lay on the bed, a smile decorating my face.
My happiness was short-lived when I remembered Lana. If there was anyone that was going to make my plan not go smoothly, it was Lana. She was too kind, and she was going to try to save or protect the breeder. What was her name even? I didn't care, she was a petty breeder, that was all she was.
I went outside to check on the breeder and she was washing the clothes, thanks to the moon goddess Lana wasn't there. I walked up to her, and stood in front of her, and said, “do a good job with the clothes breeder, and I won't have to whip some sense into you. Don't forget you're nothing but a breeder, and I'm nothing like you”. She didn't raise her head for a minute, she just stared down, as it should be. She was too much of a lowlife to look me in the eyes.
Before getting to my room, I informed the kitchen to only feed her when I say so, and threatened that anyone who went against me was going to be punished. I walked proudly out of the kitchen.
I just heard the Alpha would be spending a lot more time at the pack village, like two more days. Lucas was the only one who returned back to the house, but he was leaving soon again. It was good he was leaving, I could do whatever I wanted.
By nightfall, one of the maids who attended to me rushed in to call me, that my attention was needed urgently. I sent her away, saying I was coming. I smiled to myself, my plan worked. I quickly wiped the smile from my face and replaced it with a frown, I had to act like I didn't know about it.
When I got there, the woman in charge of laundry had a stern look on her face, while the breeder stood there beside her, head bowed, and body shaking like she was crying. I looked at her, then looked back to the laundry woman and said, “ what is so urgent that I had to be dragged here? It better be good”.
The laundry woman took the clothes and showed me, and said, “ this maid has ruined your clothes ma'am. She hand washed them and now they're ruined”. I took the clothes and acted like I was angrily inspecting the clothes. I turned them upside down and screamed, “ you stupid breeder. You've ruined my clothes, my perfect designers, why? Did you do it to spite me?” She tried to apologize and beg, but I pushed her away and feigned sadness and tears. She fell flat on her knees and started begging me and crying.
I ordered her to be thrown in the store and locked up until tomorrow. I hurriedly returned to my room like I was angry, and sad. I slumped lazily on my bed and began to laugh. Seeing her look like she wanted to pass out was everything to me. This was just the beginning, I was going to make her suffer so bad, she'll run away. I began to laugh.
I hated not having Lucian around, which meant I had to sleep with other guys. The guard who was pumping in and out of me was doing a horrible job. There was no force or energy, he was just breathing hard and sweating all over my back.
Few minutes later he was gone and I was lying in the bathtub, soaking myself in the water. It helped to ease my muscles and made me feel lighter. I hated the feeling of not feeling sore between my legs. I had to get someone else, or pray to the goddess for Lucian to come back on time. I craved and longed for his touch, I played with the water and imagined he was in it.
I was about to get changed when Lana walked into my room, she looked angry, she must have found out about the breeder in the store. I acted unconcerned and said, “I'm sure you are familiar with the word 'knocking’, because you can't barge into my room like this sister”. She looked at me intently and replied, “ how could you do this to an innocent person Eddie, you knew those clothes were not to be washed manually, but you went ahead to give them to her. What did she do to you, Eddie?”
I walked slowly to her, counting my steps and said, “ it's Edwina to you, sister. The moment you decided to side with that breeder girl, you lost the right to call me Eddie. And why do I hate her? Because she's here to steal my position beside Lucian, and I can't have that. Now get out and shut the door behind you”.
Why wouldn't she ever side with me? Was it that difficult? I've tried to make her stand with me, but she has blatantly refused. I gave her a chance and she threw it away. If this was what she wanted, to make me an enemy, then she got it. I was now her enemy. I couldn't believe she came to confront me because of a stupid whore.
I dressed up angrily and had them bring my dinner to the room.
