Chapter Five
Ryker POV
My breath hitched as Alpha Draven suddenly paused in his movement and glanced at me, his gaze unfathomable.
His hands slide deeper up my chest, all the way rubbing places that made me gasp, my eyes neva left his as his entire focus was on my body.
A frown appeared on his face as he stood up, his unique physique made me gasp, since am wolfless, I don't feel any mate bond but something defienly changes in my body when he touches me.
"Alpha Draven!" I gathered the courage to call his name when he stood up and walked to his bed, he paused in his foot steps and turned to me, his brows slightly furrowed.
"Thank you for saving my life." I uttered with the last bit of courage in me, if he hadn't claimed me in front of Alpha Jaxon, I would have been killed.
I heard a slow scowl from him, when I looked up, what I saw almost made me collapse back on my back.
His eyes changed colors, from blue to black, not just any black, his entire eyes was black, looking at him like thisz he seem more like a monster.
But it didn't last, it only appeared for a split second but am a quick observer and I know what I definitely saw, he... He might have no control over his wolf, but something is off, when Alpha's have no control over their wolves, their eyes turn pure red, not black.
"You sure have some guts, don't you? How dare you look me in the eye." Alpha Draven said dryly, making me suck in a breath of cold air. My body stiffened as I watched him take off his coat, exposing his manly features and sculpture like body, his abs were well defined with a tannish look that gave him this sexy vibe, making me wanna suck him dry.
"I didn't save your life Lad, your life belongs to me, since you were dumb enough to escape while you should be welcoming me, I should be lenient enough to teach you a lesson." A snicker left his perfect lips as he muttered.
Seeing him in a conversation mode, I inhaled deeply and braised myself, I had clearly heard it, that low but possiveness claim, I heard him say 'mine' before saving me, what does it mean.
Turning around so I could face him fully while still kneeling, I unbottoned one of the bottons in my sleeve, it's not because I what to seduce him or anything, but it has been suffocating me ever since, am not used to this kinds of clothes.
When I looked up, I was shocked to see me staring at me with an obsessed eyes, his eyes sparked desires, a desire that am not ready to face, I swallowed slowly, if worse comes to worse, I would be killed, looking back to my wretched life, I actually have nothing to live for.
"Are you my mate, Alpha Draven..."
"You Dreame." I couldn't even finish when he interrupted me with a loud growl, the desire in his eyes changed to anger, my heart rate increased loudly as I wondered what would be my fate. He stood up gracefully from the bed and walked to me, holding my chin forcefully and making me look at him, he growled deeply.
"You don't have the right to speak to me lad, you are just a lowly Omega I picked."
"A pet, you are my pet, from now onwards, you don't speak until I order you to." His magnetic voice rang out coldly in the well furnished room and I could feel myself sweating, the entire atmosphere was chilly and his demeanor overbearing.
Suddenly, aknock resounded in the room and he stood up and walked to the bed, leaving me feeling anxious. I had taught my suffering in the pack was over when he claimed me as his, I'd no longer be pushed around by others, but I was wrong, if he wasn't even worster than my Alpha.
The door was pushed open and Theo walked in, the way he looked at me still remained cold but respectful.
"How did it go?" Draven deep voice asked and Theo walked past me still kneeling on the cold floor to Alpha Draven who was sitting on the bed.
"We still haven't found any trace of it Alpha, the pack members are fully cooperative but i smell something fishy, i recommended we stay for longer than what we planned."
"It wouldn't be easy to break the facade of Alpha Jaxon." Theo said with a grim expression.
What were they looking for, and saying all this in front of me, who had been in the pack for so long, what does this mean.
"Facade?" Draven expression was somewhat chilly, i couldn't bear looking at him no more and i simply looked away.
"Of course Alpha, under your powerful Demeanor, he dared not disobey you." Theo explained.
"But he is definitely hiding something My Lord, even his usually aloof son is not as quacky under you, I think they wouldn't break."
"Let's see how long they hold on." Alpha Draven said this words slowly but dangerously, he stood up and stretched his hands, Theo quickly walked around and put on the cloak around him, I scoffed internally, he could take it off but not put it back on, how dramatic.
"Take me to the palace, I have no time to chatter away with him, if he won't speak up, then it's war." Draven uttered and Theo nodded.
"Most definitely Alpha, he would definitely crack under your presence."
I snorted inwardly, I never see such a kick-ass man, even the Beta of my pack would do better, he respects the Alpha but won't lick his ass, but then again, the Alpha is no where crazy and as powerful as Alpha Draven.
Alpha Draven and Theo took long strinds to the door and turned to open it but Draven paused before pulling the door knob.
"Have someone put in up the process, he should be ready, we are taking him back with us."
"YES, YES, I WOULD HAVE SOMEONE ON IT." Theo said making my blood boil.
What did he mean put me through the process, what process, where they trying to sell me or what."
Immediately they left, I stood up from the floor instantly but my knees gave way and I fell back on my knees, I gasped loudly and tried to put up with the pain.
After a while, I stood up slowly this time and walked to the huge soft bed, I couldn't remember the last time I slept in a proper bed and my body so craved it badly.
I jumped into the bed and rolled excitedly to the ends, my expression suddenly changed when I caught sight of the cage and the torture equipment, I stood up instantly, I had to escape again, at least in this pack if I do my duties dillently and obey every words, I wouldn't be puni
shed, with a fanatic like Alpha Draven, my fate might be worse with him.
