Chapter 6
"Then, you leave us with no choice, Luna. We were ordered to bring you back to the pack, willingly or unwillingly." The second man spoke and his golden eyes sparkled.
"Funny enough, I have no desire to return to the park," I grinned. "Are you going to force me to do that?" I acted innocent.
"I'm afraid, but we will have to do that," the leader said before they raced towards me.
TSK.
These Deltas are still learning. I stood my ground and watched them approach as I tried to gauge their strong points.
One of them raised his hand, to knock me on my shoulder, but I kicked him on the stomach, and turned, just in time to hit the other one on his nose.
The third wasn't as lucky as the others. I kicked him on his shaft and had him doubling over in pain.
"Want more?" I innocently beamed, taunting the men as I tried to get a rise from them.
With a growl, they changed into their wolves.
Goddess.
With a sigh, I pinched the bridge of my nose.
Why can't these men see that I'm not in the mood for games?
'Let's show them what we have got, Chrys.' Chels chuckled, eager to have a little exercise.
Then, let's do it. I also changed into my wolf before I growled at them in a challenge.
The three men advanced towards me like I knew they would. This time, they didn't try to claw me. Instead, they met me head-on with their elongated fangs, ready to sink them into my body.
I lay on the ground and turned, so my back was on the floor with my stomach up.
Before the first one who approached me knew of my plans, I had already clawed him on his stomach.
He howled out in pain as I kicked him on the back and made to rise. With my focus on the man, I failed to notice one of them sneaking in on me until I felt his claw on my back.
With a growl, I hit that one off with my claws and jumped on him. I went straight for his neck, and I bit down on it, hard.
A painful roar tore from his throat as he thrashed under me. The two wolves behind me, used my distracted opportunity, to hit me off him.
I collided with a tree and fell on the floor.
Fuck.
That hurts.
I slowly rose from the ground, and changed into my human form, with my claws still elongated in a partial change.
Before any of them could notice, I raced towards them and clawed their back. Similarly to the one I bit on the neck, they growled before they fell on the floor.
Yet, I wasn't satisfied with that. I clawed their backs once more and watched as blood sipped out of their backs. Only then, did I smile.
"Tell your Alpha, my father, that I won't return." I sneered out each of those words, to show them how serious I was about them.
I'm going to make a home here with the humans, away from the responsibilities of the pack. I don't need them, and I've never needed them.
Leaving the pack was one of the best decisions I made. All my life, I've lived under the shadows of my father, doing all he asked of me.
But not any more.
I'm no longer the Chrysalis that left home. I'm now Chrys.
