A Secret Revealed
“What's wrong with you two? You know her?” asked Morgan, who looked at Stevan.
"I don't know her, and there's no way I want to get to know a female servant like her," Stevan answered quite sharply.
Alexandra gripped her hand tightly. She felt her self-esteem drop. However, she tried to hold back her anger. "Excuse me. I came here because the king wanted to see me. Is that true?" said Alexandra, looking at Stevan.
"That's right," answered Stevan. He stretched out his hand in front of Alexandra. However, the woman remained silent and ignored his outstretched hand. He felt dumped by that woman. He withdrew his hand again. “I just want to see what the face of the servant who got the lowest test score looks like.” Alexandra was silent and didn't dare to argue.
“You are much more beautiful in reality than in the photo. Let me introduce myself. My name is Morgan." Morgan put out his hand. He tried to lighten the tense atmosphere between them.
Alexandra immediately accepted Morgan's handshake. “Hi, my name is Alexandra. You can call me Alexa. Nice to meet you." Alexandra smiled so sweetly.
Stevan, who saw his ex-girlfriend's beautiful smile, felt annoyed, especially when Morgan's expression seemed to show his interest in Alexandra. “Remove your hands! So disgusting.”
Morgan was confused by Stevan's attitude. Since they were separated for 10 years until Stevan returned to the Moonbright royal palace, a lot has changed in Stevan's figure. That evening, Alexandra went to a palace warehouse to put away things she no longer used. The situation around the palace was very quiet because many palace guards were hunting prey for the palace's food supply. Alexandra continued to walk cautiously. There was fear in her mind. Moreover, she is currently in the Lycan world, which is much more dangerous than the human world.
"Hi," said the figure of a male lycan who was standing, leaning against the wall, and looking at Alexandra. "Wow, you are beautiful."
Alexandra stopped in her tracks when she saw the figure of a male lycan who was none other than one of the palace servants who was now standing five steps in front of her. She felt afraid when she saw the Lycan man's gaze, which seemed to want to eat her alive.
"Where are you going?" Suddenly, the male lycan stood right in front of Alexandra.
Alexandra spontaneously took a step back. "I want to go to the warehouse to put things in."
The male lycan smiled. “It's the first time I've seen a palace maid as beautiful as you.” His hand rose to touch Alexandra's face.
Alexandra was getting more and more scared. Her gaze darted here and there, hoping that another lycan would help her. She wanted to run away, but her arm was held. "What are you doing?" she said in a trembling voice.
“I want to have fun with you.” The male lycan grinned.
“Take your hands off that woman!” Suddenly, a sound was heard that frightened the male lycan.
Stevan walked over. His gaze stared intently at the palace servant, who was now frightened by his arrival. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm helping her carry things to the warehouse." The male servant lowered his face.
Alexandra was annoyed by the man's lycan words, which were clearly lies. She immediately walked over to Stevan and hid behind him. She felt safer near the king than the other Lycans in this palace.
“Sorry, King. Then I want to go to the warehouse first." The man was about to take a step but was held back by Stevan. At that moment, Morgan arrived.
Stevan immediately used his strength, strangled the waiter's neck, and pushed him so he flew far away and hit the wall. His anger could no longer be contained. Especially when looking at Alexandra's face, which was so scared. “Do you still want to play with me? You think I'm stupid and don't know what you did to that woman, right?” The man was very scared and begged Stevan for forgiveness.
Stevan continued to attack the male lycan and even tore his body until it was helpless. Alexandra closed her eyes, afraid to see Stevan so fierce.
"Are you okay?" Morgan looked worried.
"I'm fine," replied Alexandra, glancing at Morgan.
“It seems that the maid will not survive. He dared to arouse the king's anger," said Morgan when he saw Stevan continue to attack the servant, until, in the end, the servant died in quite a tragic condition.
Alexandra didn't dare see what was happening. She continued to cover her face with both hands. Suddenly, someone hit the back of her neck hard enough to make her fall unconscious. Stevan immediately swiftly carried Alexandra's body, who was already unconscious.
“You take care of the corpse. Don't let anyone know about this problem," said Stevan to Morgan. He then left while taking Alexandra.
Now, Stevan is in a room. The room that Stevan provided was specifically for Alexandra. Stevan placed Alexandra's body on the bed very carefully. His gaze continued to examine the beautiful carvings on Alexandra's face. His hand held the woman's hand. However, he felt something strange when his hand accidentally touched her stomach. He checked again.
