Lycan World
Sofia and her biological daughter smiled happily at Alexandra's suffering. “Marcel, don't hurt her. It's my fault for not being able to look after it properly. I often forbade her not to socialize carelessly, but she didn't listen to what I said. Maybe she's so uncomfortable in this house that she rarely comes home. It's all my fault for being present in your lives," said Sofia, pretending to be sad.
Alexandra looked at her stepmother with a look full of hatred. In reality, Sofia often locked the house and wouldn't let her in, so she had to stay overnight at Stevan's house. She is only allowed to enter the house when her energy is needed for cleaning and cooking. “You bastard, Sofia! You're the one who made my life a mess like this!" Alexandra couldn't hold back her anger any longer. However, another slap landed on her cheek.
“Insolent of you! Don't be rude to your mother!” Marcel snapped with a glare. “I work hard outside the city just to meet your needs. But instead, you disappointed me. Get out of this house! I don't want to have a disobedient daughter like you!"
Alexandra immediately stood up and packed her important things while sobbing. She was devastated to see Marcel's attitude turn harsh and chose to defend Sofia.
Marcel rubbed his face roughly. He actually couldn't bear to see his daughter. However, he was already disappointed. “Go to the house of the man, who got you pregnant. Ask him to be accountable." After saying that, he left. Followed by Sofia and her daughter.
Marcel's words made Alexandra cry even more. Her mind returned to her boyfriend, who suddenly left her. Her fate was truly tragic. The people she loved left her.
In a luxurious room with a unique design with carvings on every corner of the wall, there was a man who was sitting contemplatively looking at the large glass window. He is Stevan. His hand shook the glass containing the red, fishy-smelling liquid he was holding. “I'm sorry, Alexa. I don't know how I can meet you again. I hope you find your happiness there. We are different." He looks sad. Now there are no more cellphones or tools to connect him with the woman he loves. "I'm sorry for hurting your heart," Stevan whispered.
Alexandra walked alone down the street, which looked deserted. Life in her home area is not too densely populated and far from urban centers, making life in that environment look calm and comfortable. However, not her heart. She carried a bag on her back, and her right hand carried her mother's diary.
A few minutes later, Alexandra chose to sit under a tree to rest and calm her thoughts. She missed her mother's presence. She opened the diary in her hand. She didn't feel like tears were falling when she read, one by one, her mother's writings. "If you were still here, you would be hugging me right now." Suddenly, her eyes widened when she found a photo of her father and mother with Sofia. It turns out the three of them have been friends since college. Underneath the photo, there was also writing about her mother's deep disappointment because Marcel and Sofia had been having an affair for a long time, and Stella was the child of their affair.
"Impossible." Alexandra confirmed it again. "But this is indeed Martha's writing." Her tears flowed more and more freely. She couldn't bear to read her mother's heart-wrenching writing. "How dare you, Marcel?!" Her hand squeezed the diary tightly. Her heart sank even further.
Alexandra is now standing on the river bridge barrier. Her mind was so confused. She had no hope left to survive in this world. The people she trusted so much left her and betrayed her. “Why should I survive in this world if no one expects my presence? I hate having to see Marcel and Sofia's faces. They are so disgusting. It's time for me to catch up with you, Martha.” Both of her eyes were closed. She didn't dare look down, especially since she had a phobia of heights and couldn't swim. However, her determination to end her life was so strong. She was very frustrated and had no hope anymore.
Alexandra took a deep breath, and then, with all her strength, she jumped down. Her body fell into a fairly deep river. Her eyes were closed and resigned, and she was not trying to save herself. However, suddenly, a white light came over and made Alexandra's body disappear.
A few minutes later, Alexandra felt the air touch her skin. Finally, she started to dare to open her eyes again. However, she was shocked when she saw that she was no longer in the river but in the middle of a busy city. The scene she saw now was far from normal. Many people pass by very quickly, unlike ordinary people, who walk slowly. In fact, many white-furred wolves were so big, and the way they walked was almost human-like, that it scared her.
"Where am I?"
“Hi, what's wrong with you?” A beautiful-looking woman with burning brown eyes came closer. Her gaze was so intense.
Alexandra took a step back. Her hands held the wet sides of her clothes. She was still confused as to why she was in this strange place. 'Am I in heaven now?' she thought.
“Why is your body soaked?” said the adult woman again, feeling concerned about the condition of the young woman in front of her.
"Who are you?" Alexandra asked in a trembling voice.
“Let me introduce myself. My name is Jolla. You?" Jolla watched Alexandra intensely. She felt that there was something strange about the young woman in front of her. She didn't feel the scent or power of the lycan on the woman's body at all. She thought it was very strange.
“My name is Alexandra. What exactly is this place?” Alexandra observed the conditions around her.
Jolla felt that the Lycans around the two of them were now watching Alexandra. "Follow me. You are not safe here.” Jolla immediately took Alexandra's hand and took her running.
It didn't take long for Alexandra to find herself in a house with a fairly large, ancient design. Her head felt dizzy as a result of her being carried away by Jolla at a speed beyond reason. Her mind still couldn't digest it any clearer.
“This is my house. You are safe here now," said Jolla.
"Could it be that you come from another world?" Jolla walked over. There was no answer from Alexandra. The young woman continued to vomit. “It seems that you are indeed not from this world. No wonder I didn't find any lycan power in your body.”
"What do you mean?" Alexandra turned around. "Another World? Who are you, and what exactly is this place?” Fear started to creep in. She tried to keep her distance from Jolla.
“Here is the Moonbright Kingdom. Or you could say it's the Lycan world," said Jolla, changing her form again to that of an ordinary human.
"What?" In that second, Alexandra immediately fainted.
