Chapter 3
CHAPTER THREE
KILLIAN'S POV
“Will my car be alright? I mean like before?” I asked the car mechanic, looking at my damaged Porsche. It's my favorite car, but it was destroyed by that fierce kitten.
Cassandra Austin Kinsley aka Ma féroce tigresse.
I was just messing with her but I didn't know that she would directly attack my car just for a parking spot! But her…lips taste really sweet, like cherry!
Fuck! No! Why am I thinking about her again!? She destroyed my car, I should never think about her.
“Sir, the car's side body is too severe and it might take days to repair like the original state!” The mechanic says, examining the car.
I sighed heavily and nodded my head. “Okay, take as much time as you want but just repair this car.” I said, and left the place, while booking a cab.
“What did they say about your car?” My friend asked over a call. Julian Davis, the son of the UK's mayor.
“It's almost impossible to repair my car like before! But they will try to.” I answer, walking on the side of the road. A woman passed by me and winked at me, and I did the same.
“It Looks like it's more damaged than it looks! Well, it was her fault, Cassandra did it purposely.” Julian says, and I hummed in response.
I was talking to him when I noticed a petite figure crouching on the road, and a truck coming in her way at full speed. My body moves before my mind can react.
“Cassandra!!” I shouted, running towards her and looking at her frozen figure as the truck got closer to her.
“Cassandra!! Move!" I shouted, she turned her head to look at me with a stunned expression. As soon as I was close to her, I grabbed her arm and rolled on the side of the road.
A painful groan left my lips as my back grazed against the rough ground, she also groaned while lying on my body. The truck passed, and crashed against the wall a little distance from us.
“Are you fucking Idiot!? Why didn't you move out of the way?” I shout at her, as she lifts her head and looks into my eyes.
Something crawled on my chest and I looked down to see a little pup whining and trying to move between our bodies. She quickly got up from my body, kneeling down beside me and cradling the pup in her arms.
“Are you okay? Baby~" Cassandra talks in a low tone, caressing the dog's head. “You didn't get hurt? Right?" She asked if the dog would reply to her.
“Cassandra! Are you fucking insane? Sitting on the road while the vehicles are running! Just for a dog.” I asked, crouching beside her.
“Nothing happened, right? And I didn't ask you to play the hero role, and save me! I could have moved on my own.” Cassandra says, not meeting my gaze.
I grabbed her arm and she hissed in pain, then I noticed a scratch on her elbow and left her arm. “Is a dog's life more important than yours?” I asked, looking at her.
She lifted her head, her forest green eyes looked into mine, and she smiled. My mind went blank, and my breathing stopped for a moment. My heart beating crazily against my ribcage.
Am I having a heart attack?
“He was whining on the road, many cars passed by him but no one stopped to check on him.” Cassandra says, like she can feel the dog's pain.
I stare at her awe. How can anyone be so kind and true towards the stray animals, which no one ever cares about. Is she really that kind or just pretending!?
“I have to take him to the veterinary hospital, he needs treatment." Cassandra stood up with the pup in her arms, and I also stood up.
“Wow! When you broke my car in the morning, you didn't feel pity on me! And now feeling pity on this stray puppy?" I muttered, glaring at her.
"You stole my spot, I broke your car. The account is settled.” She rolled her eyes and I almost choked her in annoyance, but controlled myself and let out a forceful smile.
“Good! But you know…I still remember your soft lips covered in my blood.” I whisper in a dark tone, leaning closer to her.
“Shut your mouth! Jerk!" Cassandra put her hands on my chest and pushed me away, but I didn't miss the color changes in her cheeks.
“You taste like chocolate milkshakes~ did you drink it for breakfast or is it your natural taste?” I whisper, and blow in her ear. And feel her body shiver under my touch.
Cassandra turned her head and glared at me with her green eyes, cheeks turned crimson red and her red lips pouting cutely. Cutely!? Did I find her cute? Fuck no!
“I don't have time for you!” She hissed, flipping her hair, which brushed my face. I inhaled the sweet fragrance of her hair, but it vanished as she walked away from me.
I was tempted to follow her but my body didn't move and stared at her disappearing figure. Suddenly my phone buzzed in my pocket and it was Julian's call.
“Man! Where did you run off!?” Julian shouted from the other side of the call. I sighed and gave him brief information about what just happened.
“Wait! Wait! you ran off to save the girl who damaged your car!?” He laughs like crazy on the call, while I book a cab to go home.
“Stop! It's not even something funny!” I growled, ending the call, rolling my eyes and walking on the side of the road. When my gaze went on a familiar Lamborghini.
My lips curved into a sly smirk and I grabbed a coin from my pocket, walking around the car and grazing it with the coin. A long scratch on the car from back door to front.
I also found Cassandra in the nearby veterinary hospital, with the little pup. I smiled boldly as she felt my gaze on her and turned to face me.
Cassandra eyebrows frowned as she found me near her car and I left from there while maintaining eye contact with her.
Tit for tat. Ma féroce tigresse
