From the Author’s Heart
Hey everyone,
First of all, thank you — truly — to those of you who’ve stuck around and supported this story. You have no idea how much it means to me.
I know I once promised that I wouldn’t abandon this book, and at the time, I really meant it. But life has taken a pretty rough turn since then, in ways I honestly didn’t see coming. Right now, I’m doing my best just to stay afloat, and all my energy is going into dealing with some really heavy personal stuff.
So as much as it hurts to say this, I have to be honest: I won’t be able to continue updating the story for now, and probably not for the next few months either. I still WANT to finish it, I really do, but at this point, I just can’t make it happen.
I won’t make any more promises this time, just so I don’t end up disappointing anyone again. But maybe think of this book as something you leave on a dusty shelf, and one day, you might look over and realize something’s changed. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll see an unexpected update.
Thank you again for loving this book while it lasted. I hope you're all doing okay out there — and if nothing else, I hope life’s treating you a little better than it's treating me right now.
