why all of a sudden is she calling him Alpha Ezra? 

since when did Evanthe become a stepdaughter? 

Isolde is weak. shes been in jail less than two days and you mean to tell me she turns into this damsel in distress immediately with no faith in Thalia or Ezra. She’s suppposed to be this great fighter. Fighters are supposed to be resilient. 

she’s so silly! I’m tired of her doubting and questioning.

Main story keeps you invested but the amount of back tracking and forgetting the details of what happened minutes ago without closing loopholes gets annoying. One second it’s noon, the next sentence is evening. it’s like whoops forgot I killed that person, surprise she’s back without an explanation. Next he can’t get up with anyone but her than suddenly behind closed doors he’s groaning and moaning screwing another. And the annoying birthmark in every emotion described every other paragraph doubles down on the annoying part. Author is so ADHD you get whiplash throughout the book. So yeah if you can get past that to power through it’s a decently “good “ read.
