He is right. Why would she complain about being taken care of and getting rest when she’s been worked to the bone her whole life.

I hate that she being painted to have such a scarcity mindset. I can understand her not understanding customs, but shoveling her food or complaining about dresses is strange as if she doesn’t understand that she’s been elevated in her station.

I think the difficulty is the uncomfortable feeling the elevation brings her. Also, a reason for it but it won't be elaborated on until my other terrible plot twist comes
