"Well, you seem happy and relaxed. I see you have wasted no time moving on." Smith voiced out in anger, "Does he have any idea that you are just using him to get back at me?" Smith spit out, shaking his head in the process. 
"Smith, why on earth are you here?" I hit him with clenched teeth, shocked by his presence. 
"I saw your car parked out front and I was skeptical if it was yours. I wanted to see you, I guess but I never expected to see that-" he gestures towards Ronnell, who continues to watch our every move, wound tight. 
"Well, you can't just walk into my life whenever you want," I fire back, "I have moved on, Smith. You messed up and shoved our good times into the trash." 
"I know." He eyeballs Ronnell, dropping his voice to a whisper. "I know that I was an asshole, but I want to make it all up to you," he reaches for my hand. "Why don't you give us another chance?" 
I pull my hands away from his, "No, Smith, I'm not ready for that- for any of your bullshit." My jaw clenched. Images of finding his ex-girlfriend's undies in my bed while he turned it on me as if his cheating was my own fault still make me angry.
He moves even closer, "No, Blair. You have to listen to what I have to say!" Before I can say a word, Ronnell's voice booms behind me. 
"I believe she's asked you to leave, man," he growls, moving forward like a freight plane, eyes flashing dangerously at Smith.
