thus book is lovely. I read through the chapters and it just keeps getting more interesting and I have to stop when I can't buy more chapters. it frustrating when that happens

The warning should say: this book is full of sadists, a misogynistic society where women are abused, raped, disrespected & treated like garbage, the men have zero redeeming qualities, the female lead isn’t strong, the male lead is horrid. BDSM isn’t about abuse, it’s trust & power balance - neither is here. Author perspective is so wrong about BDSM. Stockholm syndrome going on here. After 80 chapters to see if it would improve /at all/, I am done with this book.

If you get past the first 100 pages, the story is given more depth. It’s more of a Stockholm syndrome kind of romance. I can’t stomach it. Neither the plot or the characters draw me in. I’m just left disturbed.

I really did give this book a chance. The unique idea is there, it is a interesting book at first and the pace is not bad either BUT story development is just…. I have no words. Like I kept reading up to chapter 60 something thinking “no man this author must have something mind blowing brewing” but noo what I kept reading was just numbing my brain. I think this book should have been written in the third place with longer chapters because 9 /11 pages a chapter? seriously??? I love fantasy and I understand that it is all make believe and the world in fantasy books can be isolated from reality but this book….. Nah I think the writer is trying too hard to make Darian sinister and what’s worse is Hazel’s response to the cruelty. I have been readying this book for about 3 hours now and I have reached a point where I decided that I need to start respecting my time and energy.

I’m 120 chapters in and I gotta say. I don’t know if I like this story or not. Defintiely different from other werewolf stories which is nice but it’s seems like one of those books where I feel like some words or chapters are missing throughout cause it just seems like chunks are missing as you’re reading you’re like wait what when did that happen?
