took my littles to a traveling wolf pack at the fair. Pheonix had to be shown first....beautiful alpha...tri colored........lone wolf because the alpha female of the wolf pack won't accept him and I don't know why because he was waaaay cuter than the other wolfs she had in her pack and way more personable. Gave me another book idea...hahahahha

I’m not very far into the book, as in she hasn’t moved into his room yet, but what I have read is incredible. I really love it so far and I can tell it’ll only get better!

FYI I researched female stalker characteristics before the last chapter and the line: “I will use your kidney for sushi and your finger bones as chopsticks.” was written from one woman to a man she had one date with. like 150,000 texts after one date....so della could have been worse......but she still's carazay.

I'm researching y'all......hahahahha....#darcy in “The Female Stalker” studied 143 cases, gathered from law enforcement, prosecutorial, and entertainment corporate security files, using the definition of stalking behavior as “two or more unwanted contacts by a subject toward a target that created a reasonable fear in that target.” They describe the typical female stalker as a single woman in her mid-30s, either divorced or separated, who has a psychiatric diagnosis, most frequently a mood disorder. Unlike the stereotype of female stalkers perpetuated by the media, they point out that in fact, she is more likely to pursue a celebrity, stranger, or male acquaintance, rather than a prior sexual partner. They note, however, that the existence of a prior relationship with the victim, whether sexually intimate or as an acquaintance, significantly increased the frequency of violence and threats.

Some thoughts going through the comments: 1. Thane does admit he is s-t-u-p-i-d for not seeing the clues about his tie to Ayla. 2. Thane's sister is DEAD not cw tv dead, where everyone on the show can come back alive several times, but...dead dead. I am exploring something along these lines as a plot twist...may be this book or my second or none at all...not sure yet. 3.I may have started to seggsy time between Thane and Ayla too early in the book, but apparently, I was in my horndog feelings early since it wasn't planned. Actually, very little of this book has been. 4. I'm not a writer. I'm pretending to be. ITS MY FIRST TIME WRITING ANYTHING SINCE 2003 and that was a college essay. Please, give me a break. THIS IS MY FIRST BOOK. My second is up and probably has issues. If I find out my favorite book on these platforms wasn't finished by the author (it was abandoned a long time ago. werewolf heartsong I think) due to assholes, I would totally understand now.

As I'm editing the story from the beginning, I think it is important to remember that: 1.Thane has NEVER had a relationship 2. He's broken and hurting/suppressing his grief and self-medicating with booze before Ayla (I know, not typical in a shifter story) 3. He is developing as a character as he helps Ayla through his trauma 4. All of the characters are growing for the better with each other, but it doesn't start off that way.

Attention: if you are looking for a wolf book that does not have a modern spin. (think fantasy with amenities but no cars phones etc.) I have Lia's Redemption. It starts slow with world building and quick spice buuuuuttttt that first plot twist is a big one. That is all.

1. I have started the process of thoroughly editing the story. If you have been reading and following the story for a while, you know that I was under the impression that the editor the platform gave me was editing after I submitted to chapter. I was not aware that it went straight to the platforms. 2.You would also be aware that I comment daily that I can't go back and edit because they put a word count on me and it would cause the excess words in my earlier chapters to roll over into their own chapters, thus affecting people that unlock chapters. 3. I put in to be exempt from the word count limits but I can't take the daily comments about the editing. So, I'm starting the process then they have to be reviewed by the editor and changed. I think it is only three times a week they approve the changes. 4. No need to comment after each chapter that you don't like it. It just isn't the story for you. Find another.

FYI The company has initiated word limits for the chapters which is why I no longer do 1500-1800 word counts but I have no idea if my earlier chapters have a few paragraphs from each one that roll over into their own chapter because of the word limits. I apologize for the inconvenience and frustrations.
