"Hmm." I slide my hand down her shirt and see that her tips are erect. She gasps as my hand makes contact with her body. The glare she sends my way gives no clues but I know better. Once I reach the hem of her shirt, I slide my hand inside her shirt and up. I hear her let out a deep breath. 

"You could have hurt yourself," I tell her, producing the small fruit knife tied to her upper thigh by her lacy underwear.

Her eyes widen when I flip the knife in the air between us and catch it. 

"You wanted to kill me?" I ask her. "With a bread knife?"

This girl is really annoying. She almost puts me off. 

She will make better decisions, trust me. I hope you're still here when she begins to. So many times we're not really sure what exactly we want, but in the end, we want to be happy- whatever that happiness looks like, be it security, stability or certainty. Nicole wants to be with Roman, but is not sure it will make her happy in the end. But she will first have to define what happiness means for her.
