I really like the book. I just wish for Zirah to use more of her powers instead of just being abused, she talks a lot bu I feel she doesn’t truly act.

Overall, I think it was a good story. My only real complaint is that a lack of communication is what caused most of the problems. Apart from that, the main character seemed a bit dumb sometimes. I’m not talking about the lack of knowledge with modern day things. I specifically mean how she couldn’t figure out that she was their mate all along, not just after seeing the runes, but especially after being told by Regan about all of them (including the infant who was their mate) being connected. Also, it was repeated multiple times that they should question why their wolves liked her so much. While Zeke and Lyon had a good reason to not think about this, why didn’t Regan think she could be their mate, especially since he knew part of the curse is that they aren’t supposed to be able to sense her naturally and that she was still out there, and Zirah lived with her Granny in a cave for 19 years? Which reminds me. She was 19, but then turned 21 in the 2nd book when it was a few weeks later.

I really liked the first book, but it focused so much on Regan and Zirah that it made me second-guess if she would be mated to all 3 of them. I binge-read both books yesterday, so maybe I’m not remembering properly, but I don’t think Lyon nor Zeke ever mentioned her smelling really good like Regan does. It was like only he could faintly sense the mate bond before it was revealed, but not them. Because of the heavy focus on Regan, the romance between Zirah with Lyon and Zeke felt a little rushed. The pacing was good in the first book, but then things went really fast in the second. Also, I think it was around chapter 30 where the story really sped through things and sometimes repeated itself multiple times as if the same scene was written and then written again a different way a few sentences/paragraphs down. It made it really confusing what was happening. I did notice that there were comments asking when the next update would be around those chapters, so maybe the rest were rushed out.
