    I love this story. I’m glad I continued reading. On the beginning of the story between Phoebe and the Professor was a turn off. I couldn’t understand why she put up with his harassment every day. I’m glad he is out the picture

    I can’t figure something out! Has anyone calculated that Pheobe father or mather was born in 1833 or 1834, when Cora and Marina were captured? Wich would mean that Cora’s child, i.e Pheobe’s father is about 200 years old?

    “I am done thinking legs means humanity, he is something else” no he is not, her grandmother got pregnant with a human, her child had her. it means they are the same species, if not grandmas child would be sterile. Pheobe is a marine bioligy scientist, she knows this. I like the story so far though …

    I feel so disgruntled when I read an ebook and it starts off so great (hard to come by so I really do applaud you *especially* in first person which is hard to do and not make it sound like an 8th grader writing in their diary. you’ve really done an exceptional job I mean it.) but then all the miscommunications happen and inability to follow a proper trail of description. it’s just…disappointing-__- say one thing then two paragraphs later it’s like it didn’t happen or writer forgot it did.. a good book needs PROPER editing. as a writer you should be doing this after you finish each chapter or after several chapters go back and edit and once again once it’s all finished. it’s not that hard..just write. go back and edit. write, go back, edit. it’s really simple..and these minor inconsistencies that tear up the flow of the book won’t happen. you’ve got a good book here. don’t ruin it with these minor things.
