The Alpha is the most powerful being in the werewolf world, ruling over everyone and having complete control over everything, but not in this story. What would happen, though, if the Alpha is blindly following a centuries-old prophecy that prevents him from selecting his own mate? While some people believe in the prophecy and worry about its ramifications, others claim it is just a fallback narrative for the Alpha's extramarital affairs. As a result, the alpha will not accept the girl the elders have chosen for him and will reject his true mate even though he knows he loves her. The girl the elders selected was a power-hungry individual who merely desired to move up the social hierarchy's ladders.  Feeling hurt by the rejection, Adara, his fated mate, vowed to uncover the truth. Adara develops an obsession with discovering the truth, a quest entwined with mystery and unsolved issues.


 To what extent are these myths true? Did this prophecy apply only to an alpha male who could mate with any girl? Was it merely an old folktale meant to frighten people? How did the prophecy come to pass? What was the intention behind it? Except for one person, nobody knows the answers to these questions. Until it was eventually disclosed, the individual in question was unaware of anything. The curse could only be broken by someone with witchcraft power.
