The thing that irks me with these books is the misuse of English ie “Let Sims and Allie SEND you there” Should read “Let Sims and Allie TAKE you there. You “send” someone/something away.  To take is to accompany the person. Sims and Allie are taking, accompanying or escorting you not sending you away from them.
