Had great promise at first but the FMC is a disaster of second-guessing herself, emotionally very insecure, but supposedly dominant, poorly developed and disappointing. The MMC is one of those perfect, gorgeous males with unending patience and falls in love within 24 hours. She can’t get over herself and there is ZERO SPICE for 200+ chapters. Read the Crowns of Nyaxia series by Carissa Broadbent instead. I think slaying the Vampire Conquerer is the book that kept coming to mind while reading.

i love the idea of a story of mixed supernatural beings, how they are supposed to be mates but still in the beginning they don't seem to easily find a way to get aling well. i guess eventually they will figure it all out and i am very excited to see how their relationship develops towards a romantic one.

When I see people in this kind of conundrum I always want to scream at them what to do. Because I’m a very strong Empath I always think I’d know what to do in the same situation. But even I had trouble letting go when I found my soulmate; I wasn’t sure he’d feel the same towards me. (Empathy doesn’t always work perfectly when it’s for yourself. You can get caught up in the emotions and begin to doubt yourself.) But I’ve learned over the years to trust my inner instincts, they won’t lead you astray.

I typically don’t care for stories that have a slow burn or where the heroin is way too modest or naive, but I love this story. I love how it is written and how different it is from other stories in this genre. I would love to hear the POV of Bellamy and the other characters, also wish it’ll speed up and make her much more bold and less annoying… great storytelling though

this book started out great the progression was good the story line was interesting but then it’s like you realized you needed to make it longer so you made her dumb where she wasn’t before and I’m done. it’s boring and she’s no longer likable

This book really caught my eye with the red fate string and the other colour strings storyline. One thing that fascinated me was how each chapter’s title has the name of two elements within that chapter, both starting with the same letter, quite ingenious.

Strings of fate by kit bryan It’s like I’m a kid in a candy store. Every chapter I read makes me crave for more. Even the intro of this story made me curious. I want no NEED to know more How will they face the problems that have risen? When will they be honest and tell each other that they are fated mates? Will she find her family or get to know what category she hails from? This is one of those books that get you hooked until the end.
