(Ch 28) Long post alert: So now that we know Nephera wasn't Danica's biological daughter, it leaves the question of where did she come from. I went back and reread the chapter where Nephera was telling her story. She said she was born about a year after Queen Diane's twins. Essentially she was born to protect them, she would become their witch. What if Danica wasn't able to get pregnant at that time. They needed a witch of the right age. It's been said that witches aren't very maternal. Given that info maybe they convinced a different witch to give up her daughter to be raised by Danica within the Blue Moon Clan as their future witch. Nephera might not have known any of that and truly believed she was Danica's daughter.

I love how you put stories together. If she could wield both powers; all the other witches that aim to move in on the city are in for it. I’m not sure if I really think she can use water though; snakes don’t necessarily relate to water. If she’s really “a cursed one” it seems like the magic would just be dark and not elemental. Can’t wait to see what the journal says because as is... still kind of seems like Clarissa wasn’t necessarily...not bad? lol I want to see Liam’s POV again too. You just know his brothers had a whole lot of nothing nice to say after that last performance.

I’m optimistic! The war is technically still going. Mara is in the time loop- and will learn the truth of the past and know what to do next. I think that’s when she will re see the butterfly on the tomb with liams name and Mara will know what to do- she will come out of loop time and activate the earth powers and bring Liam back- but risking her own life- but Mara will be stronger then witch Luna cause she is a cursed one and also a wolf! She will survive. Moon goodness will save Mara just like she did for Nora in the coma.

i think the curse is a liar. Everything we see may not be true, but meant to confuse. Lysandra may not be dead. The curse needed someone to shake Mia off her game. It may be an illusion.
