love this story. also see a lot of people upset over the amount of chapters, this is NOTHING. some of the other stories are like 900+ chapters with all lose ends. this the author at least gave us an ETA on when they’re trying to complete it!

i hate the moon goddess that woman is a shameless b. sending a human to fix the problems her creation causes. what a lazy evil woman. to put one person through so much and don’t even have the decency to let her end it. and how everyone forces their belief on Dylan is appalling. I especially hate her selfish prick friend Nick. he’s useless and I don’t care for his happiness. I also hate the rebels. they’ve forced Dylan to be their voice yet no one helps her when she breaks down, no one defends her when she’s abused, she arrived at their doorstep after every soul is telling her the rebellion continued due to her actions yet as she arrives theyre about trading her or killing her. they’re all pathetic and cowardly. 5 yr rebellion yet they’ve done nothing. what’s even the purpose of their group they’re all over the place despite them having a leader as Dylan came she had to straighten them out. it’s ridiculous how much is added to one persons shoulders. she has no one and I mean no one.

so this chapter makes me think that Dylan is going to let the King mark her (what she fears most) - thus rendering him distracted and vulnerable (human like) - while the others lull him. honestly … I seriously hope that is not where this is going. Let Lewis mark her - have her accept the gift of becoming a Lycan at the last min, and let her be the one to kill Josh

okay so based off the comments i see this i a must read but may be a frustraiting read for me bc as a warewolf fan i dont like when the mate bond is played with, in supernatural stories its different and can be done but im hoping this kick ass dylan and lycan king end up finding a way to honor the mate bond and end all the ruthlessness im seeing in the comments. gonna give it a try.

This is a hard book to read with all the abuse the female lead suffers from her mate but that's also why I like it you don't really read any stories where the mate bond is so blindly disregarded. It's different and that's why I have stuck with it, that and I'm still waiting for Dylan to get her happy ending. As a human she is literally beaten down both physically and mentally and despite all her suffering she still doesn't give into the king and accept the mate bond. In my opinion that makes her a strong female lead. #HerPower

I want Dylan to finally get her peace after everything she has been through. I also think that this story has set her up to be a martyr that will bring the humans and supernaturals to work together. No one else seems to be willing or strong minded enough to do it alone.

Probably my favorite moment to date is when the King is thinking that Dylan is putty in his hands only to find out that he once again underestimated her. She uses the burning of the stage to tell the world that she is on her way to the rebellion and sends a big F/U to her mate when she leaves the chains he tried to imprison her with.

One of my favorite moments is in chapter 68 where Dylan tells the King off. She moves past her fear and tells him every reason why he is an incompetent ruler. Then she reminds him that she will never wear his mark. And finally she tells the world that they need to choose a side, because the King will fall! EPIC!!!
