to be loved is a blessing and a curse
" You... you... are a monster, " I said as I looked at the love of my life who just killed two men without an ounce of regret.
the look in his eyes scares me to no bounds; his eyes reflected his hunger for blood; the satisfaction I saw in his eyes when he saw the light fading away from the man he just killed is making me sick of him; he... he is not my sweet Zach, the man I am in love with from the last 3 years.
my heartbeat is abnormally fast; fear... no, terror has already filled in my brain and it is screaming; every nerve of my body is screaming at me to run, run far, far away from him but as if my body is frozen.
I can not even feel a single nerve, his teeth are red because of blood; his eyes... if I am not imagining things, they changed color as soon as he looked at me.
" mate! " he said as he looked at me; his clothes are torn, every step of his is making me wish to close my eyes forever.
" Mate! Mine! Mine! " He kept chanting those words as I somehow found the strength to crawl back a little.
my elbows are burished badly, but I don't care. I want to get away from him.
" Zia stop, " I shook my head immediately crawling back even more.

" Zia... " my name on his lips didn't sound like before; It was always loving and sometimes even lust but today it doesn't sound like that anymore. not anymore.

my throat hurts, not only because of holding back emotions and my tears that are on the verge of escaping, showing my vulnerable side but because of the rope marks too.
" Zia, baby... " he tried to say something, he was not that much close to me but the blood dripping from his hands, a few drops of it splashed on my face because of wind.

A sudden feeling of hate grew in my heart but the terror did not let me do anything.
I was at the end of the cliff if I will do anything against him then it will land me in the lap of death; I have an extreme fear of water and blood; I do not know why I was never able to find the reason behind it but I never admitted it to be a phobia.
Phobias are myths, there is no such thing. no such thing!

" Sleep Zia... Sleep... " With that, I slowly drifted into a sweet slumber... not knowing what was happening around me; his face was what I saw before I closed my eyes and my senses blackout.

I don't care about his pain at this moment. he can not kill someone and get away with it. I need to call the police, yes only they can save me from this man... he is not my Zach, he is someone else.
" Zia, what happened baby... " He said as I crawled back a little more, sweat dripping from my face, I moved my hand under the pillow. his pillow to be exact.

I felt the cold sharp object on my finger; I hissed in pain, maybe my fingers are injured but I do not care I need to call the police! I need to get out of here! away from him!
" Zach, " I whispered his name as he looked at me with a soft look. tightening my hold on the knife. I let my scared expression show on my face.
" Zia baby, what happened to you? " he said as he came near me; I let a teardrop as he came towards me to wipe it off, but I stabbed him.
