Chapter 250
Luke’s POV
I knew my sister had run off to hide again after I heard her arguing with Dad. I wanted to find her and make sure she wasn’t sulking. Aurora liked to do that when things didn’t go exactly her way.
But it seemed I wasn’t the only one who had that idea because halfway to her so-called “secret” place in the garden, I caught sight of her current boyfriend, Jay, sneaking out there, too. Jealousy prickled at my stomach.
Aurora was my twin. I was the closest one to her. If she needed cheering up, it should be me doing it, not some random guy. What could he ever offer her that her twin couldn’t?
Besides, Jay wasn’t worthy of her. He was a single-color coated wolf, the son of some gamma in my father’s ranks. If she was going to date and seriously consider finding a mate, I didn’t think Jay was anywhere near worthy of her.
Jay was a consolation prize, at best. Some poor lady wolf could end up with him, but not my sister. Still, if she was just killing time by fooling around with him, then I guess I could accept it.
Curious to see what the nature of their relationship was, I snuck after Jay, standing just on the outside of the ivy after he crawled in. Aurora thought the ivy hit her from the world, but when the world knew where you’re hiding spot was, all it did was hide prying eyes from her. In this particular case, it would be to my benefit.
I listened to her bitch at him about Dad’s expectations for her life and future family. A pleased ripple ran through me when she mentioned the fact that she was still a virgin. Good for her. The lycan princess shouldn’t have to throw herself away gaining power from someone who had no power to offer.
Then, to my horror, she told Jay he could be her first. What the hell was she thinking? Well, at least if she used a condom, she wouldn’t get any of him inside of her, and she wouldn’t pick up any random powers from him.
I pulled the ivy aside so I could see the scene within. To my dismay, Jay went from having his hands inside my sister, inside her pants, to just stripping down. And she wantonly took him inside her, like some sort of little slut, with no condom or anything.
She was going to draw power willingly from this puppy of a wolf. Then she’d been serious about taking as many partners as possible. She wasn’t even going to consider standards for these donors. What a monster of a lycan she was going to create.
I couldn’t let Mom or Dad know. Who knew what they’d do to try and stop her? Aurora didn’t take advice well. Just look at how Dad’s conversation with her went today. The best way to make sure Aurora didn’t end up turning herself into an uncontrollable beast was to monitor her quietly myself. I’d train my wolf and be ready if she got out of hand.
Jake started fucking her like an eager puppy on the leg of some random human, all eager and floppy and unskilled. There was an art to pleasing a woman, and he didn’t have it.
I’d practiced on two of my last girlfriends. I could have done a better job if she weren’t my twin. But I wasn’t teaching him how to please a woman properly. The opposite. For violating my sister, for screwing her without a condom and tainting her, he was going to pay.
Strangely, I couldn’t look away. Aurora ordered Jay to slow down, and he did. Each time he would get overexcited and start to thrust too quickly again, she would grip his hips and still him. When her face and chest finally flushed, and her gasps turned to moans, a bubble of anger grew inside me, threatening to burst at the same time she burst with orgasm.
Jay did too. Not that he did a very good job of cumming at the same time as her, either. As Aurora let out her first moan of orgasm, he gave two quick pumps, gasped out, and dropped onto her like a sack of potatoes being thrown to the floor.
She had to push him aside and finish riding out her orgasm with her own hands. What a waste of my sister’s first time.
When he’d finally caught his breath again, he started pawing at her, demanding a second round. How dare he make demands of a princess like she was any old whore. When he started rooting around inside again, something inside me snapped.
I wasn’t letting this worthless piece of trash dismount and then go bragging that he bagged the princess or, worse, talked some influential adults into cementing something permanent between them. All he had to do was run off and tell people that his wolf had claimed her, and she’d be stuck with him.
My sister was my life, my other half. I wouldn’t let her throw herself away like this.
Resolve hardened. Aurora said that she was going to take as many partners as possible to be as strong as possible. But she couldn’t be strong if she tripped over unworthy donors who got stuck underfoot.
A sudden plan of how to save her from herself and preserve everything that I loved between us wormed its way into the back of my mind. I would let her choose her donors, draw power from them, and then I kill them.
If they didn’t go spouting off about how their wolf claimed her as a mate, then she could avoid those difficulties and be free to become the most powerful lycan ever. I’d done my research. I knew who my father was, biologically speaking.
He’d done horrible things to the lycans, almost wiping out my sister’s kind. My mother had tried to rebuild the species as best she could, but she was only one woman, and my father was incapable of having lycan pups with another.
So if my sister wanted to become the most powerful lycan as possible and breed as many pups as possible, with as many fathers as possible, I would see to it that she was free to do that. I wouldn’t let anyone drag her down or nail her into a relationship if she wasn’t committed to it.
The upside of all of this was not only was I protecting my sister and her chosen way of life, but if she had no permanent men in her life, then I, her brother, would always continue to be the most important man to her. Then I could watch and keep her from losing control over this experiment to power up without some other man getting in my way. One way or another, I would protect my sister at all costs.
If I followed through and did away with Jay, then we would both win. I would see that she was well taken care of with whomever she ended up with, not used as a household drudge for some chauvinistic man who thought that she should be baring his pups at home in his kitchen.
Aurora was a princess. She was a lycan. She was a multi-colored coated wolf. All those things made her the pinnacle of her species.
As such, I would see to it that her pedestal stayed clear of clutter. Now I just had to wait until the right time to rid her of the baggage she’d just claimed.
