Chapter 69

FELIX

Nadine didn’t even bother to hide her smile as Mila approached the couch. Thankfully, the appearance of her sister had caught her off-guard, so I was successfully able to shove her off my lap. Nadine landed with an awkward thump on the ground.

“Mila!” she said, in a tone of fake surprise. “Oh dear, you’ve caught us! How sad! How humiliating for you!”

Mila looked more confused than upset as she looked from one of us to the other. My heart was racing. I had to fix this. I could not lose her again.

“Mila, please, it’s not what it looks like,” I said, my voice full of desperation. “Nadine told me she wanted my advice on how to apologize to you and the next thing I know, she was on top of me. I didn’t even know she wasn’t wearing anything under the robe!”

Mila’s eyes traveled over to where the white robe lay in a pile on the ground.

“Please, Mila,” I begged. “I would never betray you. You know that. You know me.”

“Don’t lie to her, Felix,” Nadine said in a saccharine voice. “You were into it. I can’t say I’m sorry for seducing your little prince, Mila, because he’s an excellent kisser.”

She winked at Mila. Mila’s face remained stoic.

“Get out,” she said, her voice both quiet and intense. “Get out of this room and get out of my sight.”

Nadine crossed her legs. “I think I’ll stay. I want a front-row seat to the big blowout.”

“There won’t be a blowout,” Mila said, her voice calm. “I trust Felix.”

Nadine frowned. “Mila, I was on top of him–”

“These doors are pretty thin,” Mila said, interrupting her sister. “As soon as I saw you knock on our door wearing only a bathrobe, I thought I’d better eavesdrop. Sure enough, I could hear Felix telling you to stop, clear as day. You’re not slick, Nadine. You’re just pathetic.”

I sagged in relief against the couch. She believed me. She was standing up to her sister. Miracles were abundant today, clearly.

Nadine’s eyes widened at the insult. “Mila… You can’t be serious.”

“I am.” Mila said. “Get out.”

Nadine reached for her bathrobe and haphazardly tied it on, clearly embarrassed. Mila waited until she was almost out the door before calling out, “Oh, and Nadine?”

“Yes?” Nadine turned around, her face bright red.

“You’re not invited to the wedding.”

Mila closed the door in her face.

When she turned back around to face me, I rushed over to take her in my arms.

“I’m so sorry you had to see that,” I said. “I can only imagine that being your worst nightmare.”

Mila tucked her head between my neck and shoulder. “It was pretty horrifying, but mostly I was just angry with her.”

“I love you,” I swore, holding her hand against my chest. “You are the only woman for me, for now and forever.”

Mila grinned. “I know. Besides, your mother would kill you if you even thought about cheating on me.”

I kissed her softly, trying to channel all my love and devotion through that one kiss.

Mila pulled back, a mischievous glint in her eye. “Nadine had one right idea, though.”

“Oh?” I asked. Mila carefully guided me back over to the couch and pushed me down.

“The couch is a great idea,” she said.

Heat flooded through my body. We had not been intimate since our reconciliation, and the thought of having her now…

I reached for her. She shook her head teasingly and backed up a step.

“Watch first,” she said.

And then she ripped off her sweatshirt.

MILA

Watching Felix’s face when I took off my sweatshirt easily erased the memory of Nadine on top of him in my mind. His eyes widened in admiration and lust, and I felt strong. Powerful. Beautiful.

“Mila,” he said, in a slightly strangled voice. “Oh, Mila.”

I had not taken off my lacy bra from the evening’s festivities, and I knew that it was one of Felix’s favorites. His gaze went wild at the sight.

He was practically drooling by the time I took off my leggings to reveal the matching thong underneath.

“Come here,” he practically moaned.

Who was I to disobey an order from my King?

I crawled onto his lap, reveling in the way our bodies fit perfectly together. A quick tug was all that was needed to remove Felix’s own shirt, and he was hard at work on getting his pants off by the time I straddled him.

“You are so beautiful,” Felix murmured into my ear. “So, so beautiful.”

He expertly slid my thong down my legs. I shuddered at the touch. I reached behind my back to unclasp my bra, but Felix stopped me.

“Leave it on,” he said, eye-level with my cleavage.

From his lower angle, he easily slid into me, causing us both to gasp out in pleasure.

“It’s been too long,” he murmured into my neck. “I need you, Mila.”

I braced my hands on his shoulders. “Allow me.”

And then we were off.

I rode Felix easily, rhythmically, as if we’d never stopped. I could feel each of his upward thrusts through every inch of my body. He reached down to stroke the bundle of nerves between my legs, and I arched my back in response.

Felix’s hands were ravenous–exploring every inch of my body, reclaiming my skin as his. But he kept drifting back to that bra–his fingers playing with the lace and eagerly teasing my nipples. Each touch felt like my skin was catching fire, on the brink of setting me completely aflame.

I could feel my release coming, and I moved faster.

As I sped up my motion, Felix groaned in anticipation. He was close, too–I could tell by the way he was hardening and tensing within me.

With one last thrust, Felix moved deeper than he had ever been, and I came in a rush.

Felix was right there with me, and as we climaxed together, I could not tell if I was moaning, crying, or shouting. Some dim part of the back of my mind reminded me how thin the walls and doors were in this hotel, but truthfully, I no longer cared.

Let them hear me fucking my future husband. We were putting on a hell of a show.

I rode Felix through the last few waves of my pleasure, collapsing on his chest as I finished. He held me against him, stroking the back of my head, saying nothing. He was still inside me, and I could tell we had made a bit of a sticky mess.

“I missed you,” he said softly, breaking the silence. “I missed this. It’s never been like this with anyone else, Mila.”

I leaned back slightly so that I could see his face. “I did, too.”

“You know what I was thinking?” Felix continued.

“What?” I asked him, a slow smile spreading across my face.

“I think we should get married.”

He was gazing at me like I was the only person on earth, and in that moment, I felt like maybe I was.

“I think,” I said, shimmying off his lap and lowering my mouth to his manhood, ready to start round two, “that is an excellent idea.”
