Chapter 3 She’s A Woman?
“One man as a meal for my two sharks, quite interesting.”
A man in a floral suit seemed to have smile. He sat leg crossed perfectly as she puffed the cigarettes. He then looked at Kay who was still standing with his mafia on the dock.
“But one human meat from your tiny mafia member won’t be enough to make my sharks satisfied, Mr. Harvey. At least, they must eat two human each day and—”
“You needn’t worry, Mr. Daud, I have prepared fifty tons of beef for your two beloved sharks. I can assure you that they will satisfied with that.”
Kay immediately ordered his men to brought the beef to the dock and it made the gimbals haired man not very happy. His lips twitched, he didn’t expect the man in front of him to have prepared everything just to shut him up.
“Every weapon of mine is the best ones. And I’m sure if I’m selling it to the government, they would be very happy, or maybe I’ll sell it to the wealthy business men. Moreover ….” Kay trailed off. He took some opium there then snuff it. He gave it to the man’s right hand man and the man’s right hand man gave it to his boss.
“That’s the best opium in the world, I got it from Morocco. And I have given you the amount of money you have to pay for all the items you wanted to buy in detail.”
The gimbals haired man took a look on the letter Kay had given him, then he laughed out loud.
“Don’t you think the amount you offer is very high, Mr. Harvey?”
“With that kind of quality, don’t you think it’s pretty cheap?”
The gimbals haired man was silent, his jaw clenched tightly. But then he smiled.
Meanwhile Kay was still watching at the closed room. From the coin he had hold on, he bet that V-XIII will survive.
“Right now, the black market has been going through so much difficulty. The American government has made a move and caught so many merchant of the black market. And seeing how much weapon and opium you have, it would be very difficult for me to sell them all.”
“If you can’t, then you don’t have to buy, do you?”
Kay, again, gave order to his men, but the gimbals haired man rushed to stand up.
“Calm down, alright … what if we deduct the amount of five percent? I think it would benefit both parties, wouldn’t it?”
Kay was silent for a while, he seemed to think about the profit he would get.
“Fine.”
“Sir—”
One of Kay’s men wanted to make a protest, but Kay immediately put his hand up to silence that person.
“Alright, take all of your stuff to the ship!”
Kay ordered his men to bring all of the stuff in, and let the other took some money from Mr. Daud. Until finally, Kay got off the ship and tried to take a look on some sides of the ship.
“Mr. Harvey, we’ve made some holes on the ship.”
“Make sure little V could get back safely,” Kay spoke. But because his men was just silent, it made Kay rose one brow.
“I’m sorry, Sir. Remembering about little V’s ability, it seems impossible for him to survive. This was a mission impossible for him, and it could be said that little V has probably been … dead.”
Kay’s jaw tightened up, he was still standing there.
Meanwhile inside the ship, Julia was struggling between life and death. She was trying to swim away, but the sharks kept chasing her. Of course, that was because Julia was injured. Her shoulder was scratched because of one of the sharks there bit her. Fortunately, Julia had an electric shock tool that she kept on her feet, and now she was holding on the side of the room. Her breath was hitched perfectly, she was looking for the best way to survive.
Until finally, Julia squinted her eyes as one of the sharks opened its mouth. And there she saw something was … shining?
It looked like something hard and it was shining brightly. That thing was weird. Did she really have to get that thing?
Julia swallowed her saliva with difficulty. She looked at the blade she was holding. The blade was too small, it would be impossible for her to split the shark into half with that with only one hit meanwhile she also must look for a way so that the shark won’t eat her.
“The ship will be leaving in an hour, get ready!”
Julia could hear that faintly, and it was a sign for her to get out of there and take that thing immediately.
Julia closed her eyes again, she mustn’t give up. She had to finish the mission, she had to get the prize, and she had to go to the basement of the mafia. Because there … she could finally meet her fiance and take him away. Yes, Julia must do it.
After Julia thought harder, she finally tried to take some woods that was on her right side. Took those woods, Julia then swam deeper. Julia deliberately overdrew the shark’s attention. And when the shark finally opened its mouth, Julia immediately stuck the woods in between the shark’s mouth that it can’t be closed. She did that on both sharks, then she swam under the sharks and tore the sharks’ bellies for a few times until it was completely torn.
Julia took the key that they were talking about. The key was planted there with an arrow. After Julia took it, she tried to hit the ship’s walls, and how happy she was when she found out one of the walls that was easy to open. Julia came out of there with a hitched breath. From the corner of her eyes, she saw Kay stood at the dock. As Kay looked at her direction, she held the key high to show him, then she put the key as a necklace. Just as Julia was about to swim to the coast, she was hit by the ship. She was fainting then drowning.
Kay who saw that was surprised. He spontaneously jumped into the sea and looked for Julia’s whereabouts. After he caught Julia’s body, he brought him to the coast. Kay was so confused when his hands felt something on the breast of someone he brought to the coast. Feeling suspicious, Kay tore Julia’s shirt and how surprised he was when he saw that the figure he thought was V-XIII was actually a woman. Kay was immediately swam then put Julia’s body to the right side of the boat so that she wouldn’t have be seen by Mr. Daud.
“Little V survived?” the mafias we’re so surprised. They almost couldn’t believe and thought that it was a miracle. “Sir, I’ll bring him to the station, I—”
“No need, I’ll take care of little V myself. Now go!”
They seemed to look at each other because it was indeed a weird thing. How could a mafia boss like Kay would be willing to do such a thing?
“Yes, Sir.”
Everyone left meanwhile Kay was still observing the face of V-XIII. Kay saw something on her neck, and he pulled the mask Julia had worn all these times. The woman with a long hair was real, she even had a tool to change her voice, and of course it made Kay smile.
Who was this woman? Kay was very curious about her.
