Chapter 246
Victor's lust soared as I lay on the floor in the black lace bra and panties. He ran his hand over the lace covering my breasts, making my nipples stiffen.
He unhooked the front of the bra and let the two halves fall open. “You are so beautiful,” he whispered before licking each hardened point.
Then he rose to his knees, slid my panties down my legs, and tossed them aside.
“You’re as gorgeous as I knew you would be, my love,” he said. “And worth waiting for.”
Then his head lowered, and I could feel his warm breath on my belly.
I thought I knew what he was going to do, and just the thought of it made my heart race.
He proved me right by letting his lips trail kisses from my belly button to my Venus mound. It was too thrilling for me to speak or move.
Then I felt his tongue touched my most intimate and sensitive area.
My moans echoed throughout the room. It felt better than I could have imagined.
Victor was encouraged by my intense reaction, and his tongue began moving in soft, feathery strokes.
Within seconds, my fingers tangled in his hair, and I screamed with pleasure. My hips thrust upward, and my climax washed over me as I panted and called his name.
When it faded away, I started to sit up. But Victor gently pushed me back down and chuckled. “I’m not done yet,” my love. I’ve wanted to do this for far too long.”
His thumbs spread me wider, and I felt his tongue entering me. It thrust in and out several times before it was replaced by his finger while his tongue resumed licking my clitoris.
The sensations were beyond amazing. I panted and moaned as my body hurtled toward another earth-shattering climax.
“Victor!” I screamed his name as the sensual spasms began again.
After my second orgasm faded into a warm glow, he moved on top of me and pushed his swollen manhood inside me.
I wrapped my legs around his waist, and the pleasure began to build in my loins again.
“I wanted you …here …like this so badly that day,” Victor panted as he thrust harder and faster. “And now you are mine.”
“Yes,” I moaned. “And I’ll always be yours.”
“Daisy,” he groaned as we climaxed together.
We lay in each other’s arms until our breathing returned to normal.
“That was amazing,” I told him. “Can I …um …do something like that to you?”
“Absolutely,” he said and kissed my cheek. “But now I need some sleep. I have to be up at five for an early meeting.”
“Stay with me?” I requested.
He kissed me again. “If I could, I’d never leave your side.”
Amy arrived a few minutes before ten the following morning.
“Did must have had a nice evening.” she grinned. “You’re glowing again.”
I blushed and nodded. The kind of intimacy I shared with Victor last night wasn’t something I wanted to discuss with anyone. It was just for us.
Amy seemed to understand, and she changed the subject. “Andy is probably at work. Should we go there to see him?”
“Why not?” I replied. “I think Archer Industry’s offices are on Fourth Street.”
We climbed into my green Mercedes and buckled up before I navigated the car out of the garage and down the driveway. Driving was fun, except when there was a lot of traffic.
We made it to Fourth Street without any problems, and I cheered when I found two parking spots in a row that I could pull into.
“You’ll never get better at parallel parking unless you practice,” Amy scolded.
“I’ll practice another time,” I promised, and we exited the car.
Archer Industries took up the entire thirtieth floor of the office building it owned. Amy told the first-floor receptionist who she was and that she needed to see Andrew Archer.
After the man called upstairs, we were sent to the private express elevators. Andrew met us when we stepped out onto the thirtieth floor.
“Amy!” he cried. “What a wonderful surprise. And Daisy, too. Come on into my office, girls.”
We followed Andrew into an office much like mine and sat on the beige leather couch.
“We would’ve called first, but something happened, and we need to talk to you,” Amy said.
“You can come here to see me anytime,” Andrew assured her.
Amy smiled. I could tell she liked him. He was a nice guy. “That’s great,” she said.
There was a long moment of silence that made me jump in.
“Amy found a photo and a note that you need to see.” I pulled them from my handbag and handed the photo to Andrew first.
His eyes bulged, and his mouth worked as he studied the photo. “Where did you get this?” he asked.
“Someone put it in Amy’s mailbox,” I replied. “It’s Deirdre, isn’t it?”
He nodded. “There’s a gag in her mouth. Who would do that to her?”
I held out the note.“We don’t know, but this was with the photo.”
He read the note and exploded. “I knew someone killed her! She never would have left me and Amy …never!”
“Tell us everything you remember right before Deirdre disappeared,” I requested.
“Amy was born on a Wednesday evening,” he began. “Deirdre was working as a waitress when she went into labor. I rushed to the hospital after being told she was having the baby.”
“I got there in plenty of time,” he added. “You took fourteen hours to enter the world.”
Amy grinned and patted his arm.
He took her hand. “You and Deirdre were hospitalized for two days after your birth. I went to see you both several times.”
“You see, we had plans. As soon as the hospital released Deirdre, we were going to elope and move into a one-room apartment.” Andrew said.
“I thought you said you didn’t have any money or a job,” Amy said. “That’s why you had to give me away.”
“Deirdre and I sold everything we had that was worth anything, like a couple of stocks, electronics, jewelry, and all the designer clothing I’d been given,” he replied. “There was a couple thousand dollars. It disappeared with her.”
I digested that information. “If she was murdered, who do you think did it?” I asked.
“Maybe my grandmother or my parents,” he replied. “They hated Deirdre. They wanted her gone from my life and theirs.”
“Is there any way I can talk to them?” I asked.
He nodded. “Thanks to your father, I now own everything. I can take you to the Archer family mansion to speak to them. But I warn you, they aren’t nice people.”
“I noticed that fact at Amy’s ball.” I put the photo and note into my handbag.
We got to our feet and went to the elevator.
“Are they the only ones who live in the mansion?” Amy asked.
“No, my older sister, Amelia, still lives there,” he replied. “You’ll like her, Amy. She was my only ally in that house and the only one of them who didn’t hate Deirdre.”
We followed Andrew to the mansion on Lycan Square, a hulking three-story building made of dark wood. Despite being well maintained, the dwelling gave off a creepy vibe.
Andrew walked in without knocking, and we followed on his heels. I could tell Amy was overwhelmed by everything she was learning today, and I was in protective best-friend mode.
“Stay in front of me so I can see you,” I whispered in Amy’s ear.
“No problem,” she whispered back. “And don't leave me alone in this place for a second.”
“Hello, Mr. Archer,” a butler said. “How can I be of assistance?”
“Alfred, this is my daughter, Amy, and her friend, Daisy Wilson,” Andrew said. “Girls, this Alfred. He will make you comfortable in the drawing room while I find my parents.”
“Right this way,” Alfred said. He took us to a room off the small foyer furnished with old, uncomfortable furniture.
Alfred left us, and we sat on a couch that faced a brick fireplace. Above the mantle was a large portrait. A much younger Andrew was in it, along with two young women, his parents, and an older woman who had to be his grandmother.
“It’s hard to think of those people as my family,” Amy said.
“Daisy, get Amy away from this place now,” Diana insisted.
Before I could ask my wolf why, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye, and I pulled Amy out of the way a second before a thick wooden cane with a heavy metal knob sliced through the air toward her head.
“I told you to never enter this house again, Deirdre!” a woman screamed.
