Introduction
Initially, Dario only wants to use Sofia as a tool to bring down the De Luca family without knowing who she is. However, the situation becomes more complicated when Sofia’s origins are revealed. Sofia is confronted with a harsh reality: her family, whom she has always considered innocent, has had a hand in the great tragedy that destroyed Dario’s family in the past.
The tension peaks when the battle between the two Mafia families heats up again. In hatred, revenge, and betrayal, Dario and Sofia begin to feel something they never expected: love. However, their love may be the biggest sin they can commit, as every step closer means more blood is shed.
Sofia must now choose to side with the family she has never known or trust Dario, who is slowly showing a softer side behind his mask of cruelty. Can their love unite two divided worlds, or will they be destroyed by old grudges that never die?

Chapter 1
Nights in Palermo always have a story. The cobblestone streets hugged by dim street lights hold mystery, and every breeze that carries the scent of the sea seems to whisper secrets buried between the glitter and the darkness. Sofia De Luca is busy setting up the camera on her table in a small cafe in a corner of the old district. Tonight, like many nights before, she sought peace behind the lens.
Sofia, a young woman with dark brown hair often tied carelessly, seems lost in her world. Her eyes, green like emeralds, reflected deep curiosity, while her oval face and pale skin gave off a gentle impression.
That evening, she wore an oversized gray sweater and faded blue jeans, the simple look of an artist who prefers comfort over style. With a slim build and average height, Sofia looks like someone who would rather observe from afar than be the center of attention.
“Your espresso, Signorina,” said a waiter with a polite smile, placing a small cup on Sofia’s table.
“Grazie,” Sofia answered with a faint smile. She sipped the coffee, letting its warmth soak into her body. However, her eyes remained alert, taking in his surroundings. Across the street, a group of men stood suspiciously, whispering while glancing towards the cafe.
Sofia tries to ignore them. However, her instincts as a photographer make her unable to look away. She takes the camera, adjusts the focus, and quickly captures the moment. A flash of light from the camera makes them immediately turn towards her.
Sofia felt her chest pounding. “Stupid,” she muttered, realizing the fatal mistake she had just made. The men wore dark suits that looked too dapper to be just hanging out on the street.
One took only a short time to move closer to the cafe. Sofia pretended to be busy tidying up her camera, but the sound of heavy footsteps behind her stiffened her body.
“Excuse me,” a deep voice with a distinctive Italian accent sounded above his head. Sofia turned her head, trying to smile kindly. The man, tall with a firm jaw and a sharp gaze, stood with his arms folded. “What did you take a picture of?” he asked.
“Oh, just the road,” Sofia answered casually, although her hands shook slightly.
The man narrowed his eyes. “Delete the photo.”
Sofia was silent. Although she appreciated her work as a photographer, her instincts said otherwise. She opened the camera gallery and showed the photo in question. "O-ok, it's just an empty street.”
The man looked at the camera screen, then at Sofia, before finally walking away. Sofia breathed a sigh of relief, but unease still enveloped her. She felt as if she was being watched.
That evening, Sofia returned to her small apartment on the second floor of an old building. The residence could be more luxurious but comfortable enough for alone. She closed the window curtains and ensured the door was locked twice before sitting on the sofa with his laptop in her lap.
She started editing the photos she had taken that night. However, when she opened the folder containing the images from the cafe, her heart seemed to stop. In one of the photos, the figure of the man who had approached him was visible. And behind him, another man was holding a gun, almost invisible in the shadows.
“Shit,” Sofia whispered, feeling a chill run down her spine. She knew this photo was not just street documentation. This is evidence of something dark and dangerous.
Sofia thought about deleting the photo, but something was holding her back. A dangerous curiosity began to creep into her mind. She knew he had to be careful, but curiosity was what kept her alive.
She saved the photo on an external drive and locked it with a password. After that, she tried to sleep, even though her mind was still filled with images of those mysterious men.
Elsewhere, in a magnificent villa on the edge of the city, Dario Moretti sat behind a large desk in his study. The Light of the crystal chandelier reflected on his perfect black suit.
With black hair that was always neatly styled and sharp gray eyes, this man in his early 30s exuded an aura of power. His jaw is firm and decorated with a thin beard, which adds a masculine impression. His height is almost 190 cm, with broad shoulders and a sturdy body posture that shows physical strength.
“She's just a photographer, Don Moretti,” he reported. “It seems like she doesn’t know anything.”
Dario leaned back in the chair calmly. “It seems like?” he repeated in a cold tone.
The man looked down. “She took a photo of us, but it was deleted.”
Dario tapped his fingers on the mahogany table. He wasn’t the type to believe in coincidences. Every small step could bring about a major disaster in a world of betrayal like this.
“I want to know who she is,” Dario finally ordered. “Name, background, everything. Don’t leave any gaps.”
“Okay, Don,” the man replied before leaving.
Dario watched the city from behind the large window of his study. This seemingly serene scene made him feel even more isolated. Palermo’s world looks like a beautiful painting, but he knows all too well what lies beneath it—violence, betrayal, and games of power that only the strong can win. He looked back at his desk, thinking about his next step.
The following day, Sofia woke up with a strange feeling. Nightmares about the man in the cafe continue to disturb her sleep. He opened the window curtains to let in sunlight, but her eyes caught something strange. A black car was parked across the street.
Sofia frowned. The car looked too conspicuous in a neighborhood usually filled with old vehicles. She tried to ignore it and continued with his morning routine. But when she left the apartment, she felt someone following her.
The typically calming streets of Palermo now feel oppressive. Sofia looked back but saw no one. However, the uncomfortable feeling remained.
At a small market where she usually bought morning coffee, Sofia saw the figure of a man from the cafe the night before. She was standing in the corner, pretending to read the newspaper, but her gaze was clearly on Sofia.
She tried to act calm, but her heart was racing. This is no longer paranoia. They were watching her.
Sofia immediately finished her shopping and returned to her apartment. However, when she opened the door, a brown envelope slipped under it. Sofia took it hesitantly and then opened it.
Inside the envelope was a photo of himself, taken from an angle she hadn’t noticed, with handwriting that read:
“You're in the wrong place, wrong time. Don’t interfere.”
Sofia felt her throat dry up. The envelope fell from his hands, and for the first time, she felt terrified.
Outside his apartment, Dario Moretti sat in the back seat of a parked black car. From the mirror, he watched Sofia—a faint smile formed on his lips.
“This little bird is starting to feel hot,” he said quietly.
“Elena will be angry if she finds out you’re playing with ordinary humans,” said Matteo from the driver’s seat.
“She’s not an ordinary human,” Dario answered sharply. “She was part of something bigger. I must ensure she knows her place before everything goes wrong.”
Matteo nodded and started the car's engine. Dario looked at Sofia’s apartment again before the car drove away.

"Yes,"
He exhales, raises his hand, and brings it down to slap my naked as again... harder than before. I gasp at the impact. It hurts, but it is so hot, and sexy.
"Will you do it again?"
"No,"
"No, what?"
"No, Sir,"
"Best girl," he brings his lips to kiss my behind while he caresses it softly.
"Now, I'm going to fck you," He sits me on his lap in a straddling position. We lock gazes. His long fingers find their way to my entrance and insert them.
"You're soaking for me, baby," he is pleased. He moves his fingers in and out, making me moan in pleasure.
"Hmm," But suddenly, they are gone. I cry as he leaves my body aching for him. He switches our position within a second, so I'm under him. My breath is shallow, and my senses are incoherent as I anticipate his hardness in me. The feeling is fantastic.
