Horrified, he stared at the blood with fear. He felt his own hands drench with the oozing red liquid as clear as rubies. The rubies floated down his hand, a perfidy treasure or a curse. He didn't remember what happened. Did he kill someone? Blood vividly appeared in his mind portraying its deadly beautiful shades of red. With a start, only then he realized the bloodshed was his.
"I-" He wanted to speak up, but he knew that no words could justify his crime or undo the damage. Hundreds of eyes fell on him while hundreds more watched the Queen, struggling to keep the male servant alive.
Eve had held her hand to the claw mark on his neck, but no matter the pressure she applied, the blood had still gushed between her fingers and oozed under her hand. It had spread into Harry's damp t-shirt, the bright red quickly darkening, taking on a brownish hue. No matter how much she wanted to change the outcome, she couldn’t. If the man wouldn’t die of the injury on his neck- there were many more, just as deadly as the one she held. Time itself had become irrelevant; the seconds could have been hours, or hours mere seconds. In that suspended moment, she was the eye of her own storm; but for that moment of perfect calm and mental clarity, she paid over and over in the years to come. "What have I done? How I dismissed that true nature of yours years ago?"
"Queen Eve, I-" The blood flowed thickly over his fingers, cold. He swallowed the lump in his throat, his eyes darted down, focusing on his rough hands. The violent red stained them. The color burned into his mind, along with what he had just done. A sickness crawled within him as he tried to clean the stains off against his pants, but, just as in 'Macbeth,' the stains stayed etched into his mind - an eternal reminder of the act he had committed.
"Get out of here before she sees what you have done! Monster! Don’t you ever dare to come near this place, I shall personally raise Hell to Earth."

This goes along with The unwanted Alpha Series first it was about Eros and Eve, the parents, then Darious(Wrath) and Ally, the first princess of Eros and Eve, this one is about River(Sloth) and Bea. The first one I found on Novelflo, it was good. Hopefully this one is as well.
