Chapter 1: Tragedy and secrets

I have been running through the forest, no idea how long, all I remember is what horrific scene that my brothers and I left behind. A rival pack decided to take it upon themselves to attack my pack house where my family and other pack members were living.

I heard windows shattering, people screaming and my parents being attacked as my mother yelled to me and my brothers to run. They must have  even after my family since we come from an extensive line of royal white wolves, we were always being attacked by some packs or rogues every so often. My name is Emerald Livingston and this is my story.

I have been running for some time now wondering if my brothers are ok,  made it out alive and if I will ever see them again. All of a sudden I came to the end of the  clearing where I looked down on a giant cliff. Looking up I noticed how big, white, and beautiful.

As I am standing there looking at the moon it is getting brighter, when out of nowhere a beam of light comes shooting down from the moon. Out of fear I stood there frozen and could not move out of the way fast enough. I felt power you would never imagine streaming through my veins. It feels unbelievable, I heard that the thousandth female within the royal bloodline would receive powers from goddess Diana that lives inside the moon.

After the amazing moment passed I continued back the way that I came, remembering there was a cave about a mile away. I got to the entrance of the cave, sniffing the air inside while looking around. I knew that it was safe, so I entered. I found a level part of the ground and curled up and went to sleep.

I was woken from my nightmare of last night,  rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I sat up. I definitely need to wash the mud and grime that was left on my clothes and skin. So, I stood up and walked out of the cave, in hopes of finding a water hole of some sort to bathe in.

Making my way through the forest I finally stopped in another clearing with a lake. As I got closer so that I could strip out of my clothing, I froze, what I just laid my eyes on I could hardly believe it. He was gorgeous,  he was a dripping wet God. Kristoff's P.O.V

I slipped out of bed shaking my head as I looked over my shoulder. Why won't she go back to her own bed after I am done with her? As I am getting dressed, I hear a sleepy voice behind me ask.

"Where are you going?"

"Why are you still here? I answered with a question."

"Because I want to be?"

"We talked about this Louise, you need to go back to your own room after I'm done doing my thing." "Also, I don't answer to you, you are not my girlfriend nor my MATE!"

"Ok, I'm going, geez. No need to get your balls in a snarl." She said.

She puts a blanket over her naked form and picks up her clothes off of the floor. As she opens the door she turns back and says.

Traveling through the forest all night looking for our sister Emerald, after escaping the attack at the pack house. I say to my oldest brother.

"Axel, do you think we'll find her"?

"Of course we will". I say to Royce, the youngest out of us boys.

"I hope she's alright". Says Brandon, the second oldest.

"I'm sure she is". I reassured them.

They have always been protective and worries the most about her, hey I am even overly protective of her at times,  alright all of the time. I hear a gasp then Brandon yells "Look over there"!
