Chapter 111

Zev

With a growl, I pull my mate close, reveling in her sweet, hot scent. I can’t keep my hands from roaming her luscious body, and when she moans, arching into me, I growl.

She tastes divine, better than anything I’ve ever experienced before, and I can’t get enough. I’ll never get enough of her. My human half was stupid to ever believe we would be able to let her go.

The sweet scent of her arousal drifts into he air, piercing my senses and toying with the urges I’m trying to keep locked down. Then she arches again, rocking her hot core against my cock and sending my instincts into overdrive.

My mouth slides to her neck, nibbling and sucking the tender skin there.

“Not yet,” Ethan warns, and I growl. I want to mark her, claim her for everyone to see, but he’s right, she’s not ready.

“Z-Zev,” Fiona whimpers, and in the blink of an eye, I have her flipped over on to her hands and knees. I love the way she pushes back, the way our bodies meld together as I let my hands roam her body.

“Right here, little mate,” I growl, pushing her shirt up and off of her body. Her pants follow soon after, the smell of her growing so intoxicating that Ethan’s voice becomes drowned out by the need to take her.

Her need is clear, but so is her hesitation.

“I’ve got you,” I murmur, licking and nibbling a trail from her shoulder to her hip. “Let me take care of you.”

With my hands planted securely on her hips, I gently slide her panties down her legs then nudge them apart. I rub her pussy, slowly pushing two fingers into her and testing her. A little gasp drops from her lips, and I smirk. She’s hot and ready for me.

“P-Please, Zev. I want… I need you to—”

She moans as I notch my cock at her entrance. She’s so wet and warm that my instincts take over and I thrust forward, entering her.

“Zev!” She cries, her fingers digging into the grass, her back arching, and her ass pushing toward me. I growl when her tight, wet pussy clenches around me while she moans my name, the feeling unlike anything I’ve ever felt before.

“You’re mine.” I thrust into her, pulling her hips back. “My mate. My female.”

“Yes! I’m yours,” she whimpers, her unfocused eyes looking back to find me.

“No one else can have you,” I demand, taking her like she needs to be taken and showing her just how much I want her. “No one will touch you.”

She moans again, pushing back into me, “Yes, Zev.”

My hand snakes down her body, rounding her hip to the juncture of her thighs and finding her pleasure center. Fiona cries out as I thrust into her while circling my fingers around the little pleasure button human women have.

Whimpers and cries fill the air, the scent of Fiona’s arousal driving me to go deeper, harder within her. My own body tightens, my teeth growing and elongating as my body instinctually prepares to claim her.

“You’re mine, little mate,” I rasp. “And I’m yours.”

Fiona’s body shakes, her hand reaching back and clawing at my arm as she cries out and comes all over my cock. I roar my release, gripping her tightly and pulling her close as both of us slump to the ground in a heap of heavy breathing and tangled limbs.

Fiona

My fingers go still as I peek over the monitor and find Ethan watching me from inside his office. Heat, heavy and wanton, immediately rises in my body as images of last night flitter through my mind.

I can’t believe we did that… that I did that with Zev. I had sex with a wolf in human skin. That wasn’t Ethan who’d given me the hardest, best fucking of my life.

Shifting, I press my legs together, remembering the pleasure that rushed through me. The tingly feeling rises in me again, and I have to take deep breaths to push it down, especially when I notice Ethan’s nose lift into the air and his eyes glowing.

Crap.

Can he smell me from there?

I knew his senses are amazing, but this is insane.

“Sorry,” I mutter, hoping he realizes I can’t stop the reaction. In response, Ethan nods and stands. I don’t mean to distract him, especially since he’s about to go to a meeting, but like I said. I can’t exactly control when I get aroused, especially with him so close and the memories so fresh.

When Ethan leaves for his meeting, he kisses the top of my head, and once he’s gone, I can focus again. I need to focus because he’s trusting me to deal with some misplaced files that somehow got arranged incorrectly. Hopefully none of them will come up missing. If they do, it’s probably my fault since I was so distracted the other day.

I’m in the middle of arranging the files when the elevator to my right dings. I whip my head around, confused, because it’s too soon for Ethan to be back from his meeting.

“Jack?” I stand, surprised at the appearance of my ex-husband for two reasons; one because we’re finally divorced, and two because he has no business being here.

“Hey, Fi,” he greets with a suspiciously kind smile and the old nickname he used to call me when we first started dating. “You look hot in your business attire and charming when you’re working,” he adds when I don’t say anything.

Ew. What the hell is happening?

“What are you doing here, Jack? You don’t have an appointment, and it’s the middle of the workday. You need to get out of here,” I say, hoping he’ll leave soon. I thought I made it incredibly clear that I wanted nothing to do with him. How is he so thick-headed?

“Fiona, I came to talk to you about the divorce. We could still work things out and make this right between us,” Jack says, stepping closer and placing a hand on my arm.

I jerk back, glaring at him with every ounce of anger and disgust I have within me.

“We’re over, Jack, and no amount of talking will change that. I have nothing to say to you, and there’s nothing you could say that I want to listen to,” I mutter, turning back to my work and sitting down. If he won’t leave, I’ll ignore him until he gets annoyed and leaves.

“Fi, I regret what I did,” Jack tries again, reaching for me. I slap his hand when it comes close to me. “I’m sorry I treated you like you weren’t important, and I’m sorry for sleeping with your sister. I was just—”

“No, Jack,” I bark, cutting him off. “You’re not sorry, not really. The only thing you’re sorry about is that you lost access to my money, so you can take your self-pity and leave. I don’t want to see you again.”

Is he so stupid to think I would take him back that easily? That everything he did and said to me would be washed away with a few pathetic apologies?

“You can’t—”

I jump up, anger flaring to life like an inferno.

“Newsflash, Jack, I never needed you. Everything I got in this life came from my own hard work and dedication. I didn’t see that before, but now, I don’t know why I ever looked in your direction,” I spit, pushing him back toward the elevator. “Now, get out.”

“Fine,” he huffs with a roll of his eyes. “I’ll leave, but when you calm down and realize I’m right, I’ll be back for you.”
