Prologue Tursum- Sasha

“I ask you again, do you want to fly?,” a gravelly voice murmured into her ear.

“Yes,” she whispered breathlessly.

“Turn around and close your eyes.”

She turned around and his hands landed on her shoulders, before moving down her arms to lift her arms out in a t beside her body. She closed her eyes and her breath hitched when he pressed against her from behind. He took one of her hands and brought it to his mouth. A leathery tongue moved over her knuckles and a low almost hum came from her. He gripped her waist and he gently grinded against her from behind. Her head dropped back and she moaned when his mouth moved to her neck to suck on the sensitive spot just above her collarbone. She felt heat start at her core and began to rapidly spread throughout her body.

He inhaled, before groaning. She felt his erection press into the small of her back, adding fuel to the desire already burning its way through her system. He wrapped an arm around her waist tightly before a gust of wind took them into the sky. Heavy wings flapped behind her and the thrill of skyrocketing upwards heightened her arousal even more. He breathed in again. His hand inched down her body, before sliding into her waistband to touch the tight little red curls hidden there.

“You smell fucking good enough to eat and I definitely want a taste,” he growled and licked her neck.

A shiver went through her body, before she wiggled her hand between them to stroke his cock over his pants. He groaned. His wings flapped again and her eyes opened slowly. He was flying them through clouds. The wispy barely there coldness left her skin feeling moist and she let her head fall back on his shoulder again. A joyous laugh fell from her lips and in the next breath he had let her go. Her body dropped like stone through the air and she flailed, screaming. She closed her eyes in preparation for the impact that she just knew was going to end her miserable life. For an eternity she waited for her body to explode anxiously, but when she finally hit the ground it was soft. She rolled before opening her eyes and looked around. Where was she exactly and the even better question was… what the hell was going on?

“KALANI! WHERE ARE YOU? COME OUT, COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!”

Her heart started pounding and she jumped to her feet to sprint to her left. The chilling voice laughed and was immediately accompanied by two more. She heard them begin to run behind her, chasing her over decaying limbs and crunchy leaves. She slipped on the wet grass as she went to leap over a limb and her foot got stuck under the tree trunk. She furiously began to tug on her leg as panic choked her.

'Come on. Please! Just let me go,’ she begged silently.

No sooner had she managed to wiggle loose, than she was tackled. A body landed on top of hers, pinning her. She started screaming and pleading as she threw hit after hit at her attackers.

“STOP! STOP! PLEASE. I PROMISE TO NEVER BOTHER YOU AGAIN! PLEASE, TIFFANY, I SWEAR. LET ME GO.”

She struggled, trying to prevent them from capturing and pinning her legs, to no avail. Another boy grabbed her arms and they lifted her off the ground. Tiffany smirked at her.

“That’s the last time you touch my make-up.” She began to walk out of the clearing. “Come on, boys, this way.”

She led them down to where the tire swing was hanging about 15 feet above the lake below. Kalani’s sobs and tears were wasted on them as they took their positions on the edge of the small cliff. They began to swing her over the edge and the boy holding her wrists let one go. She tried to hold onto his other wrist, but his sweat made him too slippery to grasp. She looked at her older sister.

“Please, Tiff, I’m sorry.”

She snapped her fingers and the boys swung her again, throwing her easily over the edge.

“I CAN’T SWIM,” she cried.

“BETTER LEARN FAST!”

Her body hit the water and she was immediately dragged under the current. Water was sucked into her mouth and she began to kick her feet while flapping her arms. Something wrapped around her ankle and she was dragged to the bottom. Try as she might, she couldn’t get back to the surface. Her terror paralyzed her and she gave up. She felt something roll down her cheek and she wiped it. How could there be tears on her face under-

“SASHA! SASHA! HELP!”

Her body jerked awake at the sound of her name being called and she leaped out of the bed. She hopped on the edge of her bed to peer over the top bunk. Her body went cold when Kalani was nowhere to be seen. She dashed out of the house, trying to pinpoint exactly where her little sister’s screams were coming from. She raced into the woods.

“Come on, baby. Tell me where you are.”

“STOP! STOP! PLEASE. I PROMISE TO NEVER BOTHER YOU AGAIN! PLEASE, TIFFANY, I SWEAR. LET ME GO.”

“Fuck!”

She stopped in the small clearing to turn in a circle. Where was she?

‘You know where they are going,’ she whispered to herself.

She nodded before running to the right to head to the cliff above the tire swing. She was nearing the top when she heard Tiffany yelling at Kalani.

“BETTER LEARN FAST!”

She pushed her legs faster and in no time was diving over the edge of the cliff. She put her arms over her head, angling towards the foam a body landing made on the surface of the water. As soon as her body hit the water, she sliced through it, pushing herself towards the bottom. Kalani saw her and began struggling harder. Sasha propelled herself to the bottom and wrapped the plants around her arm, before ripping them out of the soil. She wrapped her arm around Kalani’s waist and took her to the surface. They broke through and Kalani started coughing and sputtering. Sasha began to head to the small beach a couple dozen yards from them, tugging Kalani behind her. They collapsed exhausted and Kalani clung to Sasha’s hand, trembling.

“Thank you.”

Sasha squeezed her fingers. “I told you, it was me and you forever.”

“How did you know where I was?”

Sasha rolled towards her and tucked her soaking wet hair behind her ear. “I had a dream and you know I always trust my dreams.”

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have borrowed her lip gloss.”

“No, you shouldn’t have stolen her lip gloss, but she shouldn’t have tried to kill you. When we get home, I will tell her about herself, I promise.”

Her eyes widened in fear and tears sprang up.

“Please, don’t. You know she is mama’s favorite and we will be the ones punished.”

Sasha grinned at her. “Trust me, I got this, babe.” She tapped her temple. “I’m magic, remember?”

Kalani giggled. “What are you going to do?”

“You will see.” Sasha got to her feet and pulled her sister up. “Let’s go get in trouble, shall we?”

They slowly made their way back to the huge four story mansion their mother owned. Kalani slowed nervously upon seeing Tiffany, her boyfriend and his brother. Sasha moved in front of her to block her from their sight as they walked to the house. Sasha got her situated in their room, before getting dried and changed herself. She pointed to the window and pressed her finger to her lip.

“Watch, but don’t be seen okay?”

She nodded and moved to it. Sasha hurried back down to the front yard and up to Ethan. She stopped in front of him. He eyed her.

“What do you want, peasant?”

“Do you remember our bet? The one you lost?”

“Yeah, what about it?”

“I’m calling in your dues.”

He balked. “What?”

“You heard me. Right here, right now.”

“And if I refuse?”

She smiled and turned her head to look at Tiffany. “Are you aware of our bet?”

She frowned. “No. What was it?”

“He bet that-”

She was tugged forward and she landed against him. He tipped her face up and pressed his lips against hers. She met Tiffany’s eyes and opened her mouth. She felt him tense, but he conceded and let his tongue glide over hers. Tiffany stood shocked. Sasha moaned for good measure, before pulling away. She patted Ethan’s cheek.

“Good boy. I do believe you still owe me 6 more debts. I will collect them when I am ready.”

She hummed to herself as she merrily skipped back to her room. Kalani giggled.

“Did you see her face? That was so good.”

Sasha held her hand out. Kalani took it.

“Me and you forever, babe.”

“Forever,” she agreed.
