Knock! Knock!

My head jerked up at the quick knocks on my door. I stared at it, a sudden heaviness filling my chest and skull. I threw the covers off my body and walked over, yanking the door open.

“What?!” I snarled but instantly regretted it with a hard gulp when I saw who it was.
