Chapter 7 The Man at the Corner
Hazel.
I heard Damien laugh like he'd just won a lottery. He was happy he would finally fuck someone half his age.
Impressive.
“I'll return her by morning. I promise. And when I do, I'll let you know if she's something I want to keep or something I want to let go,” Damien laughed again after he spoke.
Thing? Oh, how your life has become, Hazel.
“Thank you,” father answered.
I wanted to walk away from that door, but I couldn't. Not because my legs sank into the ground, but because I wanted to speak with Damien myself.
Yes, it sounded shameful, but I wanted Damien to keep me.
I could no longer imagine myself in that house. It was too obvious. Dad would make my life a living hell. And Herald? That bastard would mock me till the day I die.
“Alright then, Alpha Kimberly, I'll take my leave now.” Damien pushed the door open, and I immediately lowered my head.
He halted before me; that devilish smile of his irritated me. “Oh, Hazel,” he pointed out, as if he didn't see me earlier.
“Hi, Mr. Damien,” I spoke beneath my breath. The shame didn't even let me raise my head.
“Hazel, get back into your room!” Dad immediately yelled at me.
He thought I might try to mess things up again with Damien, but the truth was, did I even have a choice?
No, thank you, Dad. I also don't want to stay in your house any longer.
“Hum, Dad, I,” I paused, and took a deep breath. “I just want to have a word with Damien. I promise.”
“Too bad,” Damien smacked his teeth. “I actually do not have any more time to spare. Whatever it is that you want to say, I'll hear it after I pick you up at night, okay?”
Damien purposely hit my shoulder with his as he walked away.
Shameless.
“Hazel,” Dad called, dragging me out of my thoughts. “Damien told me something and….”
“Dad, you do not have to say anything about it. I've heard it all, and I don't have a problem with it. I also pray he keeps me. I'm sorry for not awakening.”
I turned and headed back into my room. The last thing I wanted that moment was another conversation with that. I shut the door behind me and sat. Waiting for the night to come and then a few hours of sex would determine where my pathetic life was headed.
………
Finally, the long-awaited time had come.
Dad personally picked out a black dress for me, and I stood in front of the mirror, pulling down that same dress.
And oh, did I mention that the dress barely covered my butt cheeks?
I gave up after noticing I was only fooling myself. My ass was clearly screaming at me that they wouldn't be covered that night. And my cleavage? It was out to enjoy whatever that night had to offer.
I wasn't crying anymore.
I'd accepted the fact that I was human. All I needed to do was fuck Damien to the point where he'd nut so hard that he'd want to do it over and over again.
“Miss Hazel, Mr. Damien is here,” Ariella whispered from the entrance.
“Oh, thank you,” I smiled awkwardly. I wasn't thanking her because she told me Damien was around. I thanked her because she dragged me out of that crazy thought in my head.
I imagined Damien was about to cum, then it got stuck and… damn, I don't even want to talk about it.
I grabbed my purse and headed out. I shut the entrance door, and the cold breeze kissed my skin. I lowered my head, trying to pretend like I didn't see Damien.
Why?
I felt ashamed. I felt like I was naked. And maybe I was because Damien wouldn't stop looking at me.
“You barely let me touch you the other day, but now you're dressed up to get me all hard.” Damien's hands cupped my face. His hands trailed my neck till they landed somewhere around my chest. “Soft,” he smirked.
“Walk ahead of me,” Damien ordered.
Damien's touch irritated my every being, but there was nothing I could do. I just wanted us to get the night over with. I could tell he was staring at my ass while we walked, but…. Maybe I wanted him to.
Please keep me.
I thought we were headed straight for wherever his house was, but …
A club!
“Mr. Damien. Hum, why are we at a club? I thought we...”
“You expect me to have a woman this beautiful and keep her to myself?” Damien shook his head, laughing like a freak. “It's definitely not possible. I mean. I want every man here to see that I have a package they'd never lay their hands on.”
“But Mr. Damien, I do not feel comfortable dressing like this in public,” I answered with my head down.
It started to feel like Damien purposely wanted to make my night a living hell.
“Uncomfortable?” He scoffed. “You're about to fuck a man, and you claim to be shameful? Please, Hazel. Give me a break. Head in. I'll join you softly. Find somewhere to sit.”
Damien walked away even before I had a chance to say anything. I was forced to walk into a club that was filled with a bunch of humans who reeked of alcohol.
Oh…maybe I'm one of them too.
The loud music responded in my head. I kept walking, trying to find the perfect place to sit—at least a place where people aren't having sex in a corner.
Finally, I found a spot where almost no one was. Just one man was sitting on a long chair.
He had a hat on, so I could barely see his face. My heart raced. I didn't know why, but something about him felt strange.
I wanted to walk away, but I would rather sit with him than hear a bunch of people having sex. I sat at the other end of the chair, placing my hand over my thighs. My heart seemed to beat in rhythm to the fast music.
Only a few minutes passed when a blonde-haired woman walked up to me. I could swear I saw her with that creepy man earlier, but I shook off the feeling.
She probably just wanted to sit.
“Hi, pretty.”
“Me?” I gasped.
“Who else?” She chuckled. I looked at the dress she wore, and damn, I looked decent compared to her.
“Hum. …..I'm waiting for someone, actually,” I answered, letting out an awkward smile.
“You see that man at the corner? Why don't you go ahead and sit with him instead?”
Thank you, Damien, for making this thing think I'm some cheap slut.
“I'm sorry, but I don't think you heard me. I said I'm waiting for someone. A man,” I reminded.
“Hey,” his thick voice suddenly sounded next to me. I lifted my gaze and looked at him. He wore a black shirt and a pair of black pants to complement each other.
He barely buttoned his shirt, revealing his abs, and it felt like I didn't know how to breathe anymore. The sound of his voice echoed in my head several times, and it sent shivers down my spine.
Even though I didn't see his face, I was sure he was way handsome than Damien was.
Why isn't Damien just as sexy as this?!
I closed my eyes, reminding myself that Damien was the one I needed to fuck, but I didn't last much longer when his perfect fingers lifted my chin, and my eyes met with his.
Looking into his blue siren eyes felt like pure luxury.
“You won't say no, would you?”
