Chapter 5 Five

As the car drove inside the mansion, all the servants were mobilized in front of the apartment to welcome me.

What a lovely welcome this is,

And I never assumed I could ever get this in my life.

The chauffeur parked the car in front of the servants’, and one of them opened the door for me.

As I stepped out, they all bowed their heads and choruses at the same time.

“Welcome, Mrs. Fredrick.”

Wow!

I love this.

But where is Fredrick?

Shouldn't he have come to welcome me too?

Perhaps, he is busy.

Well, that isn't a problem.

It is going to be fun living in this house.

The servants took my luggage inside, and one of them stayed behind.

“Ma’am, I will show you to your room.”

She said,

I really love this house,

It is so vast and stunning.

She led me inside and took me upstairs.

Surprisingly, there were about eight rooms upstairs.

How many people live in this house?

Harris and Jessy don't live here, right?

I was so curious, so I asked the maid.

“Mr. Harris lives here with his wife, their room is over there.”

She pointed at the single room in the left wing.

My eyes lit up.

This is so good.

If Harris and I were to live under the same roof,

After I had settled in, a knock came on the door twenty minutes later.

“Ma’am, Mr. Fredrick sent this over.”

She handed me a parcel.

“The driver is waiting for you outside, Mr. Fredrick said he should bring you to where he is.”

Where is he?

I thought he might be in the study room or somewhere around the house.

Sighs.

I hope he isn't taking me to any club.

I changed into the dress he sent over,

It is a nice gown, an expensive one.

A long peach dress with a slit on the side.

I applied a little makeup,

Slipped into the shoes that were together with the parcel and stepped out.

I wanted to ask the chauffeur where he was taking to, but since Fredrick didn't order them to inform me, I decided not to ask.

Maybe he is going to surprise me.

A few minutes later, we arrived at our destination.

I stepped out of the car, unable to take my eyes off the company signboard.

It has Fredrick's name on it and looks new.

“Ma’am, wait for me here, I will notify Mr. Fredrick of your arrival.”

I bobbed my head and he hurried away.

Fredrick stepped out of the building a while later,

He looks so handsome in his tuxedo,

It fitted him so well that it brought out the physique of his upper body.

With smiles all over his face,

He pulled me into his embrace and planted a kiss on my lips.

“Look at you, little dove, you are so sweet.”

He winked at me.

“Thanks.”

He raised a brow.

“Just thanks?”

I know what he wants,

For me to kiss him,

But isn't it getting too much?

I mean, my mission isn't to always kiss or have sex with him,

My mission is to take revenge on Harris and Jessy.

“Don't be shy, little dove.”

He chuckled softly.

“Let's go inside, I will introduce you to my family.”

With our fingers locked, we walked inside the building.

And surprisingly,

Fredrick has paparazzi all over the place.

The moment we stepped inside, they started taking pictures of us.

My eyes scanned around the place, searching for Harris.

I couldn't find him among the people, and Jessy wasn't there either.

Aren't they back from their honeymoon?

Their marriage is already seven weeks long.

There they are,

Coming out of the elevator, holding hands like teenagers in love.

They seemed to be so perplexed, staring at the paparazzi who were blocking their views.

I know what to do.

“Frederick?”

I tapped his arm, while smiling at the camera.

“What is it, little dove?”

“Aren't you going to introduce me to the audience?”

“Oh, yes.”

Great!

Now let's see how Harris and his wife will react to this.

“Ladies and gentlemen.”

I fixed my eyes on Harris so I won't miss his reaction when Fredrick calls my name.

“Meet my precious wife, Blair Reece.”

I could see Harris's eyes widening in shock.

Then he looked at Jessy and they started talking.

Maybe he is asking her which Blair his father was speaking about.

Hahahhaha.

Revenge feels so good!

“Come with me, I will introduce you to my only son.”

We walked through the crowd and then my eyes came into contact with Jessy.

The cup in her hand slipped off and it broke into pieces.

Her eyes widened in shock too,

And when Harris was about to check if she had injured herself, she tapped him and he turned in our direction.

“Blair?”

Harris gasped.

“Dad?”

He looked at his father confused.

“Point of correction, she is your stepmother now, so show her some respect.”

To anger Harris more, I wrapped my hands on Frederick’s arms and rested my head on his bicep, giving Harris a mischievous smile.

“You remember I told you I got married two months ago?”

He asked his son who was burning with anger.

“She is my little dove.”

He stroked my hair gently, then lifted my chin and we kissed.

“That is so sweet, baby.”

I giggled at him.

Fredrick's attention was needed somewhere so,

“You guys should get along, I will soon be back.”

He kissed me again and hurried off.

As soon as he left, Harris let out his frustration.

“You cheat!”

Uhn?

Am I now a cheat?

Hahahhaha.

“You are so shameless, Blair. How could you do this?”

Jessy snapped.

Whoa!

“Hey, you guys can't talk to me like that. Jessy, I am your mother-in-law, so show some respect!”

Seeing the angry look on their faces makes me want to jump in excitement.

Revenge number one, done!
