Chapter 3
Seraphina's POV
Three days later, in Dominic's private office.
"This is Morrison Group's investment proposal." Dominic placed a thick document in front of me. "They want us to invest fifty million in their new energy project. The board is leaning toward approval."
I opened the file, reading carefully. Suddenly, a familiar company name caught my eye—in my past life, this project had completely collapsed due to an environmental scandal three months later, leaving investors with total losses.
"Dom, I suggest you reject this project."
He looked up. "Why? It seems like a good opportunity."
"Their environmental impact data is problematic. I have a feeling this project will explode in scandal within three months."
"A feeling?" He frowned. "Seraphina, I need more concrete reasons. I can't reject a fifty-million-dollar investment based on gut instinct alone."
"Trust my judgment on this." I pointed to a data page. "Look at these numbers—too perfect, too clean. This is obviously fabricated."
Dominic studied the page carefully, his expression growing serious. "Damn, you're right. These numbers do look suspicious."
"I suggest having someone investigate this company's background immediately."
He chuckled and nodded. "If your judgment is correct, you just saved the pack fifty million dollars. I really did marry a smart wife."
One week later, in the Elder Council chamber.
In the week since the mating ceremony, the entire Stormwind Pack had been adjusting to this shocking change. I had leaped from being an Omega from a small pack to Luna—mistress of the pack.
But I knew the real challenges were just beginning. Casper's resentment followed like a shadow, and the conservative elders' doubts about me as an "outsider" had never ceased.
The ancient round table surrounded the majestic clan emblem as twelve elders took their seats one by one. As Luna, I sat to Dominic's right—but he hadn't arrived yet.
Casper was already seated across from me, his face dark.
"Gentlemen," Casper spoke first, "before we begin today's formal agenda, I think we need to address an issue."
Several conservative elders immediately straightened in their seats.
"What issue, Casper?" Elder Marcus asked.
"Her issue." Casper pointed at me. "Having an outsider Omega participate in our elder council meetings is a complete desecration of our traditions!"
"Casper has a point," Elder Marcus cleared his throat, then turned to me. "Seraphina, I must ask—did the Alpha actually authorize you to attend our council meetings?"
I looked up, calmly meeting his gaze. "Of course he authorized it, Elder Marcus. As Luna, participating in the pack's important decisions is both my right and my responsibility."
"Right?" Casper sneered. "You're an outsider Omega who knows nothing about our pack's traditions and operations, and you dare talk to us about rights?"
"Exactly," another elder chimed in. "What qualifications does an omega from some backward small pack have to guide pack affairs?"
I looked around at everyone present. "Gentlemen, I understand your concerns. But let me remind you all of something—"
"Remind us of what?" Casper interrupted. "Besides seducing my father, what exactly have you contributed to this pack?"
A few snickers echoed through the chamber.
I frowned at the smug Casper, about to retaliate.
"Enough."
Dominic's voice rang out as he strode into the chamber, and everyone immediately fell silent.
"Sorry I'm late, gentlemen." He sat beside me, then looked around at everyone with cold eyes. "But I couldn't help overhearing some very inappropriate remarks."
"Father, we were just discussing..." Casper tried to explain, but his voice was noticeably weaker.
"Discussing what? Discussing how to humiliate your Luna?" Dominic's voice grew even colder. "Gentlemen, perhaps you haven't heard the latest news—Seraphina helped us avoid a fifty-million-dollar loss on the Morrison project. She single-handedly identified their fabricated environmental data, while you 'experienced' elders failed to notice."
Elder Marcus's face changed slightly. "Alpha, we didn't know..."
"Of course you didn't know, because you were too busy questioning her qualifications instead of focusing on her abilities." Dominic stood up. "And gentlemen, as my Luna, her position is non-negotiable. Any disrespect toward her is tantamount to directly challenging my authority. I hope this is the last time I hear such questioning."
"But Alpha," Elder Marcus said carefully, "according to tradition, Lunas usually don't..."
"Tradition?" I settled back in my seat, my voice calm. "Elder Marcus, tradition also tells us that only the strong should lead the pack. And I've already proven my worth through actions."
"She's absolutely right," others nodded in agreement. "Strength matters more than bloodline."
Casper's face turned ashen. He shot up suddenly. "I will NEVER acknowledge this bitch's position! She's not worthy of being Stormwind Pack's Luna!"
The chamber fell silent again. Everyone knew Casper had just crossed the line.
Dominic slowly stood up, staring coldly at him. "Then you're directly challenging my authority, my decision, my choice."
"I... I'm not..." Casper began trembling.
"Since you question her position, let me clarify once more." Dominic's voice became even more commanding. "As your Alpha, I'm giving you a direct order—call her mother. Now."
Casper tried to resist, but the Alpha's pressure made his knees begin to buckle. Finally, unable to bear it, he collapsed to the ground.
"M... mother..." The word squeezed painfully from his mouth.
I watched Casper kneeling on the ground, memories of past life pain flashing through my mind. This was the demon who had tortured and killed me and my child, now forced to kneel before me and call me mother.
The taste of revenge is so sweet... my wolf purred with satisfaction deep inside.
After the meeting ended, we returned to our private chambers.
"Your performance today impressed me." Dominic loosened his tie. "You're a natural-born Luna."
"Thank you for supporting me." I walked toward him, slowly unbuttoning my blouse. "Let me show my gratitude..."
As the silk slipped away, revealing my perfect curves, I saw his breathing become rapid. His gaze locked onto my full breasts, the erect nipples trembling in the air.
"I never refuse my Luna's gratitude." His voice grew husky.
I moved closer, caressing his burning arousal. "Tonight, I want to give you something special... perhaps it's time to give Stormwind Pack a true heir."
His pupils dilated instantly, then he slammed me against the wall.
