Bella.

"We are so delighted to be part of your family alpha. Stella will make a good Luna" My mother coos as she stares at my sister with utmost adoration.

"Of course Mrs Carter. I love your daughter so much. That's why I am giving her a lavish wedding. She deserves every bit of it," Sebastian says, and Stella blushes so deeply. I feel a sting in my eyes, and my heart sinks at his words.

Is he intentionally saying that to hurt me?

It has always been about her. Everything is about Stella while me, goddess! Do they even see me? They don't care how I feel. They never did.

How much longer, goddess?

"You are stalling. Serve the tea and get out of here. You are embarrassing us in front of our important guest" My father harshly whispers, and I quickly place the mug on the table and silently walk away.

Unlike my sister, I am the unwanted daughter. Everyone calls me a rant because at eighteen, I haven't shifted yet.

Most wolves shift at twelve or at the latest, fifteen. Well, except for me.

Perhaps the goddess simply dislikes me, or she forgot to create one for me.

I silently walk to the balcony and lean on the rails. After tomorrow, the hope of my mate ever coming back to me will be completely crushed.

As if on cue, I smell him and my body instantly tenses up. Sebastian is five years older than me, and he has always known I was his mate.

When I turned seventeen, I recognized him and you know what he did, the man rejected me in front of everyone and openly confessed his love to my sister.

They have been dating since then and tomorrow is their mating ceremony.

"So, little rant. Will you attend our wedding tomorrow?" His mocking voice sounds like a stab to my fragile heart but I try hard to mask my feelings.

Everyone in this pack supports their union. Especially our parents.

Furthermore, no alpha will want a wolfless Luna. A Luna should be the strongest among the she- wolves and she should be able to bear strong pups for the alpha.

"You don't ignore me when I am talking to you" Seb pinches my chin and lifts my face to his. There are still faint sparks to show what remained of our bond. Every time I see this man, the pain I feel is so unimaginable.

What will I do to make him stay away from me? He likes taunting me. He frequently appears in my space just to remind me he loves my sister more.

Of all the people he would have replaced me with, it just had to be my bitchy elder sister.

"Yes. I will attend your wedding" I hoarsely murmur and quickly clear my throat.

"And don't dare cause any trouble. I want you to watch your sister get what you can never have. After all, only the best gets the best, right?" Seb drops his hand from my face and smiles down at me.

That taunting smile that he knows hurts me.

My hands tighten on the rail and I blink away tears.

"Goddess! It would have been so easy if you had just had a wolf. Did it have to be you?" My ex-mate grumbles and turns to walk away.

Yeah, why just me?

After making sure Sebastian is gone, I walk back to the house only to be met by their whispers.

"Mum, what if he changes his mind? Did you see how he was looking at her just now?"

This is not the first time they have talked behind my back.

"He won't. He just invited her to the wedding to humiliate her more." My mum consoles my sister, and I sneer.

"No. I don't believe that. Bella is his fated mate. They share a bond, Mum. Furthermore, she hasn't accepted his rejection yet"

"Honey, you are only being...''

"Because I don't want anyone to take him from me, mum. I have loved Seb all my life and tomorrow, he is going to claim me in front of everyone. That rant can ruin it" Stella screams, you wouldn't guess she is my sister.

"Then let's stop her from attending the wedding. The alpha's family is loaded and has numerous connections. We can't let that chance slip away just because of a worthless rant." My father's voice bellows, and I hold my chest.

These people are my family. My own blood.

They will rather choose status and wealth over me.

"How, Dad? If Sebastian wants her there, trust me, he will make sure she's present. I just don't trust him," Stella whispers, and that shocks me.

They are together most of the time. My mate spoils her like no one's business and everyone knows just how much he adores her.

"I have a suggestion," my mum whispers, and for some reason, my blood turns cold. This can't be good.

"Let's drop her at the Red Fangs' borders"

Goddess!

"That's killing her. You know no one steps in that pack and comes back alive," my dad quickly interjects, and I shake my head in dismay.

That's the same as killing me. Do they hate me this much?

The alpha of the Red Fangs is known as the ultimate demon. He hates rogues, and he dislikes people trespassing on his territories.

Those who have tried before ended up dead. There are rumors that the alpha of the Red Fangs has a huge, hideous scar on his face, and he is scary as shit.

They say he kills without mercy or care.

If I happen to appear near his territory, I will be dead before morning.

Maybe I should run.

"We don't need her dad. Maybe we should just let her go. Furthermore, she is a stain on this family's name. Stella convinces my parents, and after a long moment of silence, I hear them sigh in resignation.

"Okay, handle it then. No one should know about this. Especially the alpha's family," my dad says, and I quickly rush to my room.

They can't know I heard them.

I need to get out of here before they put their sick plan in motion. I don't know where I will go but I can't stay.

However, before I can pack anything, I smell her strong perfume before she appears at the doorway.

She has that smug look she always has every time she faces me.

Stella inspects her long painted nails and deeply sighs.

"You know, Bella. I always envied you. Why do you have to be the prettiest between us, the one with brains? Why should you be mated to an alpha while I get a stupid gamma?" Stella venomously murmurs and slowly sits on my bed. My eyes cautiously watch her every move.

Is she here to finally carry out their plan?

" I will make sure I change our fates. You don't deserve the alpha. Seb is mine and tomorrow I am going to be the Luna of this pack. I will be the wife of the richest man in this pack. Oh! And I can't wait to finally spend the rest of my life with the man you love" Stella chuckles as she carefully watches my reaction.

I have accepted defeat long ago. My heart grew numb to the fact that I lost him to my sister.

"Why are you in my room, Stella?" I ask in boredom and she flashes me that ugly chilly smirk.

"Seb is still a man and I see how he looks at you. You need to go, little sis" Stella gets up and starts to walk towards me. I instinctively take a step back until my back is pressed against the wall behind me.

"No..."

"No one is ruining my wedding. I don't care if you die out there or not. Furthermore, I will be doing you a favour. No one wants you here. Our parents hate you. The whole pack despises you. The only she-wolf without a wolf is a curse that is greatly frowned upon." The more she talks, the louder and more venomous her voice becomes.

I don't see it coming when my sister plunges a syringe in my neck and empties the liquid in it in my body.

"I always get what I want, little sis. No one gets in my way," her soft voice whispers, and I feel myself fading away.

Please. Don't take me to Red Fang's pack.

That's my only prayer as everything fades into nothing.
